Prideful Poetry at Flushing Town Hall

An intimate, high-energy hour centering LGBTQ voices through the power of poetry and spoken word.

8 Poets, a Musician and our host Avant Garbage are excited to share their work and their words with all of us. This is not an Open Mic, this is a curated evening that invites selected poets to step up to the mic and share their work with an enthusiastic audience. The readings will be followed by refreshments and time to mingle with our artists. Come for the poetry, stay for the community!
