We invite you to celebrate the strength, resilience and stories of others in our community who have been touched by cancer.

Please join the team from the UCHealth Jan Bishop Cancer Center on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 3–5 p.m. at the Strings Music Pavilion. Enjoy an amazing guest speaker and opportunities for connection and education. Patients, families and caregivers are all warmly invited.

We are honored to welcome Colorado-based conservation photographer Scott Wilson as our guest speaker.

During his own stage 4 cancer journey, Wilson sought a therapeutic outlet in Colorado’s backcountry. What he found was a new calling in cause-related photography and he has become a staunch advocate for animal welfare causes and improved cancer screening.

His photography-driven fundraising and advocacy efforts helped advance legislation in Colorado that lowered the recommended colorectal cancer screening age from 50 to 45.

We look forward to seeing you on the afternoon of the 12th.
