Think back to the last stranger you talked to. Write about what they're doing right now.

Ameliorate.

It means to make or become better, more bearable, or more satisfactory. To improve.

Write about a scene where a character jumps to a conclusion about something.

Memory. A specific memory, memory in general, someone losing theirs-- anything to do with memory.

Write about someone who committed a murder just prior to the story, from their point of view. Do not mention the murder.
