Which is why I completely forgot to post the link to the Tychus hat.

So, here y'go.

Notes:

1. Check your gauge. A dread lord in Adelaide didn't check her gauge and ended up with a hat a bit on the large size and kind of pointy. Someone elsewhere in the world did check their gauge and ended up with a hat that fits properly. Forward this to five people.

2. Don't believe them when they say it's 'tangy', it's actually 'mellow'. Knit stitch only, and short rows are *not* a difficult concept. (Of course, if you need clarification, email me or ask next NECRONOMIKON.)

3. The hat took me 3-4 hours to knit, and 3-4 days to sew the one seam, 'cos I HATES the sewing. Next time I will do a provisional cast on and a 3-needle-cast-off, so that I can get them finished and set aside for family members for Christmas.

4. If knitting this in one colour only, I would wrap the turns. It just reduces the size of the holes at the turns. In multiple colours though, I didn't and wouldn't.
