Ahead of the premiere of The Peanuts Movie, one of its stars has received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame: Snoopy.
The iconic beagle — first introduced to the world by creator Charles M. Schulz back in 1950 — joined the likes of fellow cartoons Mickey Mouse, Tinker Bell, Bugs Bunny and more with his star’s arrival on Hollywood Boulevard (number 2,563, according to AFP). The plaque landed in its proper place, right next to Schulz.
The Peanuts Movie — the popular pup’s next big screen adventure with Charlie Brown, Lucy, and the rest of the gang — arrives in theaters in 3-D on Friday. Get a sneak peek of his latest hijinks here.
