Paul Simon has released a second song from his upcoming studio album, Stranger to Stranger. “Cool Papa Bell” follows “Wristband,” which the singer-songwriter shared earlier this month. Simon will release Stranger to Stranger on June 3, about halfway through his early summer tour that runs from April 29 to July 1.

For Stranger to Stranger, Simon teamed up with longtime collaborator Roy Halee, who also worked on Graceland and Simon & Garfunkel albums including Bookends and Bridge Over Troubled Water. “It’s about making music that sounds old and new at the same time; music with a sense of mystery,” Simon said when he announced the album. “Sound is the theme of this album as much as it’s about the subjects of the individual songs. If people get that, I’ll be pleased.”

Simon recently drew attention when he said a reunion with Art Garfunkel was “out of the question” because the two “don’t even talk.”
