Bebe Rexha is singing her way into cinemas for her live-action feature debut.

The "Meant to Be" pop star has landed her first role in a major motion picture, as STXfilms announced Wednesday the 31-year-old will appear in the upcoming Kristen Bell-led comedy Queenpins.

Inspired by a true story, Queenpins follows the story of one of the largest counterfeit coupon scams in American history, with Vince Vaughn, Richard Jewell's Paul Walter Hauser, and Bell's The Good Place costar Kirby Howell-Baptiste rounding out the cast.

Bell will lead the film as a suburban housewife, who feels dismissed and overlooked by both her husband and society at large, and decides to take control over her life by starting an illegal coupon club. Her scheme ends up cheating millions of dollars from big food companies, while providing countless coupon-clippers with untold sums of discounts.

"This is a perfect film for Bebe to be making her live-action film debut. She's an incredible talent and international superstar, and we love her for this role as Tempe Tina, an eccentric computer hacker who helps our heroines with their coupon scam," STXfilms' motion picture chair said of the project in a press statement. "We know she will add so much fun, talent and personality to this cast."

Queenpins was written by Aron Gaudet and Gita Pullapilly, both of whom are also set to direct.
