Tom Holland owes Kelly Clarkson '$7 with interest' for unpaid bar tab (original) (raw)

The next time Tom Holland visits The Kelly Clarkson Show, he had better come with cash in hand.

The Spider-Man star now officially owes the daytime TV host a whopping “$7 with interest” after she reimbursed Leo Woodall for the unpaid bar tab Holland stuck him with when they were shooting the 2021 film Cherry together.

“He’s gonna hate this,” Woodall joked, recalling the incident on Thursday’s episode of the show. “I was doing a tiny, tiny part in a movie that he was in, and there was a bar in the hotel that we were all staying at and, bless him, he’d just hurt his ankle.”

The White Lotus and One Day star said Holland, who is now sober, had walked into the bar “on crutches” to spend time with his castmates, adding, “We were all watching the football and he got one beer.”

He continued, “At the end, everyone kind of spilled out apart from a couple of us, and then they asked me to pay the bill that wasn’t picked up, and I said, ‘Oh, whose was it?’ And they said, 'It was... Tom Holland?'"

"And I went...” Woodall recalled, before making a blank face.

In response, Clarkson exclaimed, "Like he can’t afford it!”

Woodall then said Holland’s pint cost him “like, seven bucks or something.”

“Seven bucks? Alright, well I did something for ya. Hold on,” Clarkson said as she dug into her black turtleneck and pulled out some cash, which she handed to a laughing Woodall. “This is seven dollars.”

She then turned to the camera to deliver a message to the newly indebted Marvel actor. “And you know what? All I have to say now is: Tom Holland, you owe me seven dollars with interest,” she joked. “‘Cause you’ve got that Spider-Man money, bro! So, interest.”
