After a two-year hiatus, Veep is finally returning with a new season of wicked Washington-walloping wackiness! Before you start celebrating, you also might want to grab a Kleenex. Season 7, which launches March 31, is also the last. Yes, HBO’s critical acclaimed political comedy will bring you only seven more episodes of the misadventures of vice president-turned-POTUS-turned-POTUS-candidate Selina Meyer and her acidic cohorts. To mark the beginning of the end, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and her Veep costars appear on 12 different covers of this week’s issue of Entertainment Weekly. (In the cover story, you will be given access to all sorts of intel about what awaits Selina, as well as some nasty-as-ever Jonah insults.) But right here, you can watch each actor take stock of the moment and bid farewell to his/her character.

“Gary, you have been a joy,” says Tony Hale, who starred as Selina’s overinvested bagman. “I’m going to miss you. I wish you… intense therapy, and thank you for hanging me with these past eight years.”

“Mike McLintock, if you’re watching this, put the scone down,” says Matt Walsh, who played the overwhelmed subpar press secretary. “And also knock the adoption form out of your hand. You have enough children. Just slow down and be happy with the amount of children that you have.”

Kevin Dunn, a.k.a. Selina’s well-worn adviser, offered some sage medical advice to Ben in his send-off: “Ben, just don’t mix amphetamines and brown booze. Lay off the sweet and always be as sweet as you are. See ya, buddy.”

Louis-Dreyfus, meanwhile, turned a bit emotional in her parting words, and echoed the sentiment of Veep fans everywhere when she signed off to Selina with this sentiment: “You’re a heinous, venal human being, and I love you with all my heart.”

In short, they’re making it difficult to say goodbye to these jaded bozos‚ but also funny. Check out everyone’s farewell address above.
