Barack Obama is dropping his list of 2019 favorites including books, movies, and tv shows.
Amazon’s Fleabag, in particular, has caught the attention of social media users for a hilarious reason. Series creator and star Phoebe Waller-Bridge wrote a scene in the show’s pilot episode where her character masturbates while listening to Obama give a speech during a news broadcast.

_Fleabag_‘s official Twitter account sent a proud message after seeing Obama’s endorsement of the show’s sophomore outing.
“We couldn’t ask for higher praise than this,” they wrote on Sunday.
Although the 44th President of the United States has not commented publicly whether or not he’s seen or heard about his connection to the series, Twitter is convinced it’s a subtle confirmation that he has. And those who aren’t quite sure, are having loads of fun trying to figure out what he knows.
So, what other favorite titles made Obama’s 2019? The books on his list are: The Yellow House by Sarah M. Broom, The Topeka School by Ben Lerner, Susan Choi’s Trust Exercise, The Moment of Lift by Melinda Gates, and the collected works of Toni Morrison.
Movies that earned a shout out include: Birds of Passage, Booksmart, The Farewell, Parasite, The Last Black Man in San Francisco, and Little Women. The only other tv shows that earned a presidential recognition were: HBO’s Watchmen, and Netflix’s Unbelievable.
