Okay, so I know I kept promising to post some bunnies for Ewan. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to get my act together enough to type them up. In the meantime, though, I come with something that kinda, sorta, counts as a gift. And it might even spark some Ewan fic ideas, for those who like their Ewan to play with his lightsaber. *Grins lopsidedly* I've had the same notice up a couple of times on my own lj, but figured I should give y'all a heads up, since nobody ever comments when I remember to try to say something on my own lj about this. Basically, this serves as a notice of Star Wars (includins some lovely Ewan as Obi-Wan!) goodies. For those of you who don't know, there is this wonderfully kind and generous soul on the lj, proud_snapist, who routinely (usually once a week, on the weekends) will post links to places on sendspace.com or other similar sites where she will have made it possible for other folks to download copies of items (books, young adult books, comics, etc.) from the SW EU which she either has Micsoft reader files of (books) or scans of (comics). She is a very kind and very patient person who's willing to share and she will repost links to things whose download links have already expired (told ya she was a sweetie), so folks, if you're looking for a way to read some of the old or new SW comics or novels or young adult books without busting your piggy banks, I'd seriously suggest giving her lj a visit, okay?

Okay. So. I was afraid all of the SW specific terms wouldn't fit on the other post, so I left the more important ones at the bottom and decided I'd make a separate post with all of the more SW-specific fandom terms I know of, just in case any of you Ewan fans are or decide to become SW fans as well. Okay, so this is kind of a random question, but by any chance do any of you lovely people know of anyone (actor, model, singer, regular joe, what-have-you) who looks enough like Ewan that it might possibly be conceivable that, as a teenager, he could have successfully acted as a decoy/body-double for Ewan? If anyone does, I'd really appreciate knowing about that person and I'll love you forever if you pas on a photo or link to a photo of that person. I have someone in a story I'm, well, not really outlining but organizing plot-threads for, preparatory to any writing, and he's supposed to be the same age as and to have looked enough like my Ewan character (that'd be Obi-Wan Kenobi, for those of you familiar with my SW/Kenobi obsession) that he did precisely that, and I'm drawing an absolute blank when it comes to thinking of somebody who resembles Ewan enough to've been able to do that, even if they were only in their mid teens at the time. Thank you so much for any help! Y'all are dolls!

Hi, all! The owner/moderator of this lovely community asked me to post about some of the more often used fanfic acronyms/abbreviations. Of course, after I agreed, I discovered that the best fandom glossary I know of no longer seems to function (though it might come back online later, in which case I suggest that those who're interested check back later at http://www.subreality.com/glossary.htm under the fandom acronyms link). However! After some looking about, I've gathered up the following for the edification of anyone who (like me) has ever been puzzled by just what all those random letters mean.

Omigod, look at all the pretty Ewan pics! *Stares happily and hums* Y'all may not want to let me post here too often if we're really allowed to give away plot bunnies. I've only got dozens of the suckers, and it's all Ewan's fault. He's just too darn irresistable. *Sighs*

Fan fics and HALPPPP!!!

I've added a link to what I consider to be a beautifully written fan fic by polgarawolf that essentially re-writes Revenge of the Sith and one I wish to hell George had read before filming but clearly didn't.......we'll just ignore the whole paradox of the film having to be made for the fan fic to even have been written at all........

The Ani/Obi-Wan smoochies are just beautiful.

I'm going to ask for help now.

I'm writing a fan fic at the moment that's going to have three different fandoms in it and I've decided in my stupidity it would be a fun to write a story that has Anakin, Obi-Wan, Curt and Brian all dumped somewhat unceromoniously (er sp?) in the Matrix with one very confused Neo and equally confused if not totally pissed of Architect who suddenly has a Matrix full of anomolies. Now I've got it started..........finally but my problem is how do I get the four men in the Matrix.

The problem stems from the desire to want however they all get there to be similar so that throws out the Force with Ani and Obi since neither Curt or Brian can access it since it not exsisting in early 70's London but then Curt and Brian have no access to PC's at all so I can't even use that. I thought about the alien theme in VG but not sure I like it................HALPPPPPP!!!!!!!!!!

Slash characters

First question. Apart from Anakin/Obi-Wan, Curt and Brian and Tom Lincoln/Lincoln 6 Echo can anyone tell me what other characters of Ewan's are slashed in fan fics? and is Ewan slashed with anyone other than Hayden in RL slash fics?

I'm making the banner for here but I've only got three pairings so far even if one of them is Ewan snogging himself (there's something faintly disturbing about that)
