Hi I'm new. :)

My name is Lea and I'm 27 years old...about to be 28. I am married and have been for 2 years now to a wonderful man that I have been with for over 7 years now.

I don't have any children so it's even worse that I have this weight. I can't blame it on pregnancy. I wish I could. lol

My highest weight ever was 293. I felt disgusting and pretty much had given up on the chance of ever being healthy again. I wasn't always overweight. I didn't put on any weight until my junion year of high school. I went from 135 to 200 within one year.

Right now I am currently at 262. After working in retail again I started to drop some weight by just running around a lot all day. So this year I decided to set a new years resolution goal and stick with it this time. I weighed about 275 when I started Slim-Fast. A lot of people can't do the Slim-Fast thing but it's really working for me.

I'm drinking two shakes a day with fruit and veggie snacks and eating a (somewhat) sensible dinner.

So far I'm feeling a lot more energetic and I'm actually proud of myself. In the past I've been so disappointed because I always let the long term goal get to me. I've decided this time that I'm going to make a big deal out of the small successes. I'm going to be so happy when I am out of the 260's which I am pretty close to now. I'm then going to make a big deal out of getting out of the 250's and so on.

My target goal is to get out of the 200's by January 2006. I know I have plenty of time and I could probably do more if I really wanted to but I don't want to set myself up for failure yet again so I'm being a lot more realistic.

I'm also doing Tae Bo Cardio twice a week and a yoga tape once a week.

I'm looking forward to getting this community hopping and having plenty of ladies to give one another support. Let's Get This Weight Off !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
