This would be done by focusing on state's evolution and relation with the minority community leading to exclusion from Muslim citizenship. The paper will be divided into 3 parts. The first part will deal with Pakistani nationalism as a phenomenon and foundations of Ahmadiyya movement and early days of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad's prominence. The second part will inspect interaction of Ahmadis with nationalist politics of India and moreover their contribution in Pakistan (various areas). The section will deal with Ahmadiyya political disenfranchisement post-1973 constitutional amendment, tarnishing national identity of the community & reducing their status to that of a half citizen.
