The presence and use of semiconductor is the basis for electronic technology. In this modern era, electronic technology has influenced various activities in human endeavour including engineering. Engineering serves as a backbone for development of human society. The paper discussed what semiconductor is, and its use in electronic technology, which in turn is useful in promoting sustainable engineering programme. Issues discussed in the paper are: use of semiconductor in electronic technology, role of engineering in National development, and value of electronic technology in ensuring sustainable engineering programme. It is pointed out that semiconductor, through electronic technology has brought about production of electronic systems useful in promoting teaching-learning process in engineering. Electronic systems can be used for intellectual enhancement, communication, and security for upliftment of engineering.

Electrical machines being controlled by both AC and DC sources can work smoothly with their compartments well designed and arranged; most of the machines use transformer and electric motor (induction) for their operations. Blender, Vacuum cleaner, Grinder, Pumping machine is domestic or light mechanism called simple machine. Industrial machineries using three phase AC supply utilize more power and their operational output volume is always high due to their revolution speed rate thereby producing exceedingly high products per minute. Manual machines make use of induction motor and transformer, with slow rated speed and absolute angular regulation. Hence, mechatronic machines using cam coupled with servomotor, shaft, hydraulic, pneumatic and synchronized module runs at a very high speed with the rated angular velocity greater than that of domestic machines due to the pulse signals generated in the control unit of the servomotor. This made the OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) of the machines driven by servomotor rated at about 98% unlike machines without servomotors with 85% OEE. This paper highlights the advantages of servomotor over induction motor; it’s less power consumption by operation, applications and the relevance of servomotor to the upgrade of industrial productivity.

The main objective of e-administration is to cut down on wasted paper and space by converting important documents and files to electronic files. This strategy has become popular with many industries where heavy paperwork is a major part of conducting business, such as health care, legal, scientific, and government agencies. Private companies have also adopted e-administration in an effort to save time and resources. In companies that use e-administration, less paperwork is lost or mishandled by unauthorized individuals. Files are retrieved electronically, so there is an electronic code left behind to track the accessed documents. This system can provide security in a company by limiting who can view certain files and requiring clearance for anyone else who needs to access certain records. This is especially important in industries where patient or client confidentiality is important. e-Administration is also becoming a common practice in the business world as more professionals use e-mail, word processing, and social media networking. These electronic methods of communication allow people to share information, documents, and records seamlessly via the Internet instead of waiting for traditional mail and courier services. With automated office practices in place, messages are conveyed at lightning speed, which makes processes much more efficient. e-Administration eliminates the hassles of printing, mailing, filing, and delivering paper documents. Consumers benefit from e-Administration as it influences the way they shop, buy and sell goods, or access records. Private citizens can obtain support from government agencies and financial organizations via the Internet through electronic processes, rather than being forced to travel to office buildings. Citizens can pay taxes, get replacement identification cards, and make address changes electronically via telephone or computer. Consumers can search for necessities and request information or make purchases in much the same way. In Higher Institution of learning, e-Administration suppose to be the basic practices for collating information, information dissemination, students' data processing, student's results and to checkmate all irregularities in all levels of academics. This paper suggests ways of reducing stress, waste of papers and enhancing perfect productivity with fast and smooth operation in higher institution of learning.

Growth and development has been a bone of contention in the third world countries where abject poverty has invaded the countries, limiting the strength of their economy to an unreasonable level. Also, epidemic and sorts of ailments are always rampant in such places thereby causing high mortality rate. In every economy or country, there is bound to be series of challenging situations which makes governance unstable and citizens uncomfortable. These issues are always tense in the third world communities because of inadequacy and incapability of the government to alleviate these problems. This paper will proffer solutions to many challenging issues combating with the third world around the globe.

For easy understanding, issues the paper dealt on are relevance of physics in technological development, concern for physics education in Nigeria, and utilization of electronics in enhancing secured teaching-learning process in physics. Certain recommendations are made to support the application of electronics in promoting secured education in Physics. The paper pointed out that physics is an aspect of science and so it is vital for development in human society. It is noted that poor state and conditions are witnessed in the teaching and learning of physics in Nigeria. With the use of electronics in education (ie e-learning), teaching-learning process in physics can be enhanced by using electronic devices like computer, Internet, and electronic media (such as television, radio, video tape, audiotape, projectors, etc). Worldwide, the energy consumption of manufacturing industries grew by 61% from 1971 to 2004 and accounts for nearly a third of today"s global energy usage. Likewise, they are responsible for 36% of global carbon dioxide emissions (IEA, 2007). Manufacturing industries nevertheless have the potential to become a driving force for the creation of a sustainable society. The reduction of greenhouse emission has been a top priority for governments and corporate organizations, alongside to tackle global warming. In the current economic crisis, a "green recovery" policy is being considered in several countries, and public investment in environmental technologies and other sustainability projects are a core part of the measures. The sustainable manufacturing and infrastructural environment provides a foundation for decision-making tools development and is expected to be tightly integrated to ameliorate the development process.
