kranna_tiki @ 11:02pm: Just saying hi Hello! I just joined so I thought I might drop a small "hello" note. I am a passionate gamer, and have been so since I was about...7, give or take. (Yes, you have to hand it to Poke'mon...)

I really like RPG's, especially the Tales series, Final Fantasy, and Golden Sun. I'd say Kingdom Hearts as well, but the only one I've ever really played is Chain of Memories. I also am a fan of Super Smash Brothers Melee, and am currently obessing over the identity of the angel dude who's the new character in SSBR. If anyone knows which game he's from, (I forget what his name is- I KNOW it begins with a "P"...) please tell me.

Has anyone here ever played Tales of Phantasia? I own the GBA version, but I wouldn't mind talking about the game if you've played the Super Famicon version.

ardulyrr @ 10:16pm: So, after ranting to my boyfriend about how lame the games I own are (lots of RPGs, which just aren't my thing anymore), I decided to temporarily disown my PS2. I've gone back to PC games, which includes Neverwinter Nights and lots (and I mean lots) of Diablo II.

However, Diablo's minions, and the "special" setting on Neverwinter Nights aren't allowing me to get my daily dose of gory goodness that I look for in games now. I need bullets meeting decaying zombie flesh. I must have blunt objects cracking demon skulls. It's essential that I use power tools for their various unintended purposes.

Cue the boyfriend doing some research. He dug up some information on a game called "F.E.A.R." which was released in October, apparently. I'd never heard of it, being in the situation I'm in right now (damn that thing called Real Life©).

So, my question is, has anyone played it? Personally, I think it looks pretty interesting, and it's definitely got the look of something I'd play, but looks can be pretty deceiving (I could name several examples of games here, but I don't want to get flamed or something). Yes, I know there are reviews out there, but I'd rather get the opinion of someone here, if that makes any sense at all.

Sorry for the babble, but any info from anyone that's played would be appreciated. :)

schizoiori @ 10:29pm: work kills my game time So yea I got soul calibur III this holiday. That game is immensely addictive. My work schedule is keeping me from playing though and it's driving me nuts! That is all. Hope everyone had a great holiday. *ponders which cosplay to do*

Got a question though, When you first go to the Bikanel desert, there is supposed to be a scene with Baralai... It didn't happen for me... Why? (BTW, I am in ch. 3 and I know it was in one, but stilll in case I wanna get the perfect ending...)

Silent Hill Movie?

I love the game series (from what little I played of it), so I'm hoping they don't completely butcher it with a film. I mean, I loved the Resident Evil games, but, no offense, the movies just didn't live up to the name the series made for itself. And to think, RE3 is already in the works, set to come out next year.

In the case of Silent Hill, I don't know whether to be hopeful or to cry.

Either way, it's saving grace will be Sean Bean. :)

I loves me some video games (obviously, otherwise I wouldn't be here), and I've been addicted ever since my grandma introduced me to the joys of Nintendo (ah, good ol' Duck Hunt). Major Parasite Eve fan, but hey...gimme a game, I'm happy for ages.
