I have served as Vice President of the International Society for the Systems Sciences (ISSS) and Secretary General and Vice President of the International Federation for Systems Research (IFSR), the largest global umbrella organization of systems research organizations in the natural, social, and technological sciences, as well as systems engineering.
My current work is focused on transdisciplinarity for general systems, in particular educational and applied research opportunities on systems design and systemic innovation at the intersection of the regenerative economy and digitalization to develop methods to address complex challenges towards the so-called next economy, especially the circular economy.
