Alright so, I am super excited about my new photo blog:

Take a look at an excerpt from my first post and head over to look at what I've been working on recently.

"I like to start my day off by sitting under a tree contemplating life and praying. I figured that starting my new photo blog off by sitting under a tree, metaphorically, would give you all a small taste of what’s to come. I have a ton of photo shoots that I have been dying to post somewhere other than my old class blog for my photo 120 class (which can be viewed at the following: www.carlygrote.wordpress.com) so stay tuned for that. First off, let me just say, Facebook is pretty lame for posting pictures. Your friends can scroll through them and they may “like” them or leave a comment and then move on to the next one, but there is just something so amazing about really being able to sit and contemplate a photograph. So, I challenge you to sit and contemplate, not only the photographs you find here, but any photograph you see from now on, even the photograph in your living room of you and your family. Ponder what that moment was all about, what it could mean, and what it does mean. What does the photograph make you feel."

So, I went to see The Tourist today.... honestly, it reminded me alot of that new Britney Spears perfume commercial (see below). It made no sense! Just watch the commercial... that's basically how the movie went. TRUST ME!

I'm honestly disappointed in Angelina and Johnny... *shakes head*

I'm not sure if I'm particularly alone in this, but it completely bugs the heck out of me when I receive a string of one word texts from people. Makes me feel like they don't really care.... but that couldn't be true. I've been feeling a little over emotional lately... over the past few months!! Let's just chalk it up to that....

Me: Wonder how come, Carly?

To Me: Way too much I'd say there, uh, Carly.

Interesting concept emotions are. Perhaps I should take this opportunity to pose a question. Well, rather, a concept.... In psychology it is learned that the neurons that determine extremely hot are the same as very cold. Perhaps, that is why there is that idea that bad situations are really blessings. The good and the bad are made of the same stuff.

My finals are all done! Half of my time here at the JC is officially over. I can't help but wonder what this means for my life. I still haven't figured out my major. I know I want to do something with art, but does that mean writing, visual, or performing? I have no idea.
My friends found the joy in the mentos and diet coke experiment today. They made me treck all the way back to the cafeteria to witness it. While they laughed there heads off I only found a small chuckle deep within my throat.
Time for a poem? Alright.

How does that sound? Too depressing? Why must I always sound so sad.

Much better. Alittle happy Jesus love for yall. Titles? Haven't gotten that far yet.

I wonder how Winter break is going to play out. Lets hope all goes well...Writing is fun, no?
WELP I don't know what else to say for the moment. If you're reading this, you've got good taste in writers.

This makes me glad that everyone always calls me Hermione.

Determining the factors of my current state
I'd say I'm fine.

Yet, here I stand a bit disappointed in what
I've seen and heard.

Below the line we can begin to glimpse
