I’m an assistant professor in philosophy at Durham University working at the intersection of linguistics, machine learning and the philosophy of language. Before this, I taught at the University of Oslo, St Catherine’s College, Oxford, and King’s College London where I received my PhD.

My research broadly concerns what it means for humans and machines to know languages. There’s more information on my research page. This a little interview with me about my work and this is my department page. My Google Scholar is here.
