The Signature Jazz is the very first design (Design that Started it all) completed in the collaborations between Carl Fischer and Gary Radtke of GR Mouthpieces. It has a flat rim with a soft bite and high alpha angle. This combination gives comfort with the feel of a slightly larger cup volume. This gives the ability to be flexible with the sound and color while keeping an even sound throughout the horn.

Description
The Signature Jazz is the very first design (Design that Started it all) completed in the collaborations between Carl Fischer and Gary Radtke of GR Mouthpieces. It has a flat rim with a soft bite and high alpha angle. This combination gives comfort with the feel of a slightly larger cup volume. This gives the ability to be flexible with the sound and color while keeping an even sound throughout the horn.
It has a #3 backbore which is very open and free blowing. This mouthpiece has the closest feel and sound to a 3C and is great for a player to switch over to, or for a younger player playing a conventional mouthpiece to move up to the CF GR Line. Recommended for players who want to have a bit more of a commercial sound with an extended range with the comfort of a non-injuring comfortable flat-wide rim.
Perfect for use in small acoustic jazz clubs, or any setting where a “more commercial” or “more legit” type of sound is preferred. The sound is huge and it can go from big and dark to bright and huge!
