I've started doing an exercise regime because I'm worried about an increase in my waist measurement. I really don't have much discipline, so I only manage about 20 sits and 20 push ups a day, coupled with a 2 mile brisk walk to work. I just wanted to ask am I kidding myself that this will help keep my waist trim? ** I have tried to curb back eating junk food, but usually snack on biscuits and / or a cream cake at least once a week. | |

It's got to be better than doing fcuk all, hasn't it? All that "if you're not doing intense exercise for at least xx minutes at least x times a week or it's pointless" stuff is a horribly demotivating factor - there's a point to doing any exercise!(Deleted comment)_this will raise your metabolism._That's good to know. I figure mine has been slowing down somewhat as I tend to feel fuller for longer. I'll really have to work on stopping the snacking, I've been used to having a fast metabolism as a means of eating what I like and not putting on any weight. |
