Previous method has been using different feature and classification method for FER and use basic method for testing. In this paper, we used the best feature descriptor for FER by empirically evaluating two feature descriptors, namely Facial Landmarks, and Binary Robust Independent Elementary Features (BRIEF) descriptors. We examine each feature descriptor by considering one classification method such as Support Vector Machine (SVM) with three unique facial expression recognition data-sets. In addition to test accuracy, we present confusion matrix's of FER. We also analyze the effect of using this feature and image resolutions on FER performance. Our study indicates that Facial Landmarks descriptor works the best for FER to run on smart phone. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed facial expression recognition on mobile phone is successful and it gives up to 96.27 % recognition accuracy.

Consumers may face several problems as a result of delays in the delivery of goods. This delay may be due to drivers choosing incorrect or longer routes when delivering. To avoid these challenges, the Global Positioning System (GPS) is increasingly being used for management of vehicle fleets, recovery of stolen vehicles, mapping and surveillance. This paper outlines the design and implementation of a real time GPS tracker system using Arduino. When a user makes a call on the number that is registered on the GPS-GSM shield attached to Arduino, the user receives the location coordinates with data being stored continuously on an SD card simultaneously. This proposal has significant application for vehicle security, salesman tracking and private drivers.

It detects electric potential generated through human brain by movement of the muscle cells. Detected signal can be used further into usable information to drive a control system. This paper presents the techniques to design Electromyography based prototype prosthetic arm, in such a way that can imitate the actions like a real human arm. Current prosthetic devices have limited functionality and are cost prohibitive. Designing a cost effective prosthetic human hand is the major focus of this paper. The design features five individually actuated fingers in addition to movable wrist design, which is unseen in commercial products. This study will serve as a platform for future prosthesis development efforts.

It can be deployed in various kinds of environments to monitor and collect information. This paper aimed at developing an intelligent car parking system that is more cost effective and user friendly than the already existing systems. The first phase aimed at making cars detectable in the parking lot through the use of sensors, while the second phase aimed at communicating the collected data to the user remotely. The system was created and tested in two ten-lot parking lots (A and B), where it was tested physically in section A (lot A1), and in a simulation mode in both car park sections A and B. The project was highly successful attaining a 90% accuracy level, which is inside of the satisfactory levels of utilization.

Lately, the use of GPS is widely increased in everyday life that means that our necessities have changed. We can use a new paradigm in controlling the voice of a map in the digital era. This would bring benefit for people while driving a car. In this paper we present a set of voice commands to integrate within the map and navigation voice control. Using a voice control for Global Positioning System (GPS) helps to determine and track the precise location using a technology called Google API. The benefit of this application would be avoiding car accidents using speech command instead of typing.

One important aspect of providing QoS guarantees understands the traffic dynamics of the WBAN. Towards this end, the objective of this project is to study the traffic dynamics of WBAN and attempt to equip a traffic model of WBAN over ZigBee. In this project, we implemented three types of network topologies to study traffic dynamics. We studied the end-to-end delay of traffic, the sent traffic histogram and the received traffic histogram. We concluded that the current OPNET ZigBee simulator is not sufficient to provide complete and solid results for traffic modeling. Additionally, we observed that the star topology incurs the lowest end-to-end delay and the tree topology incurs the highest.

It gains strong interest to implement a facial expression system on a portable device such as tablet and smart phone device using the camera already integrated in the devices. It is very common to see face recognition phone unlocking app in new smart phones which are proven to be hassle free way to unlock a phone. Implementation a facial expression system in a smart phone would provide fun applications that can be used to measure the mood of the user in their daily life or as a tool for their daily monitoring of the motion in psychology studies. However, traditional facial expression algorithms are normally computing extensive and can only be implemented offline at a computer. In this paper, a novel automatic system has been proposed to recognize emotions from face images on a smart phone in real-time. In our system, the camera of the smart phone is used to capture the face image, BRIEF features are extracted and k-nearest neighbor algorithm is implemented for the classification. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed facial expression recognition on mobile phone is successful and it gives up to 89.5% recognition accuracy.
