1.

No Drama

This is what ruins games. You have a problem with another player in the comm, shoot me an email and let me know what's going on so I can help you solve the problem.

2.

No Godmodding

Putting words in someone else's mouth isn't cool in real life, and it doesn't fly in this game either. Play your character(s) and your character(s) only.

3. Quality and Quantity
Single sentence posts are not permitted. Spell checking is a must. In order to keep this game going, we have to have well-rounded characters. Stuck for thread ideas or where to take your character next? Ask your fellow players for advice in the OOC comm, or drop me a line.

4.

Style

Third person for the comm, 1st person for your journal. Both must be in storybook style (so no, *laughs* or *frowns*). We want good quality writing to come from all our characters in order to have the game at its full potential.

5.

Cannon vs Fandom

Characters should be kept cannon up to the current season of their respective franchise. The exception to this is relationships. For example: Don't like Danny with Lindsey? Feel free to put him with Mac. ALL relationships should be accepted by both characters' 'muns. DO NOT try and force a relationship with another character just because it is cannon on the show.

6.

OCs

Original characters should not come into the game as blank slates. They should have a history prior to joining the NYPD, NYCL, or any other branch of law enforcement portrayed on the shows. Like characters from the show, they too must be well-rounded.

IC vs OOC

Out of character posts may be made in your character's journal and in the OOC comm. In your character's journal they must be tagged and titled as such (generally " [OOC] " is used to differentiate between in-character and out of character posts). DO NOT mix the two.

8.

Hiatus

Real life understandably gets in the way at times. If you plan to be out of the game for more than a few days, please drop everyone a note in the OOC comm so that all 'muns are aware. The limit for hiatus is 3 MONTHS. Any longer and we will assume (unless indicated otherwise, or previously agreed to) that you have left the game for good.

Don't know? Not sure? ASK.
