Finally did it just now. Got a Roots backpack (I already have a backpack, but whatever..), eight packs of gum (also from my parents), the newest edition of the Guinness Book of Records (so my mom actually WAS telling the truth this year), and The Vinyl Café Diaries by Stuart McLean. (from my brother)

They gave me the gum so I can give it to the kids and save money. That was also their rationale last year in giving me 16 packs of the stuff. Ah well, can't complain TOO much about a gift.

Should add that I got a photo frame from my friends Denise, Brian, and Julie.. plus a Mashimaro notebook, stickers, and Botticelli chocolates from my friend Yazmine. Of course, there were the holiday cards from my friends.. including one from my Maryland friend Dan. So that's it for me this year.. which is all right.
