Hello all, and welcome to 
fma_scar!
Perhaps you've been thinking, lately, "Isn't it about time that the homocidal zealot badass Scar from the anime series Fullmetal Alchemist had a Livejournal community devoted to honor his hotness and awesomeness?"
Ah, yes. I know; it's a common angst... truly the zeitgeist of the ages.
Well, here it is.
Some basic rules, just to start off:
1. All posts must relate, however tangentially, to Scar.
2. Spoilers (and you all know what they are!) should be clearly marked and (when appropriate) under lj-cut. This is courteous to new fans and will be the one strictly enforced rule.
3. Universal Scar Worship is not necesssary and is actually kind of detrimental to humor. It's more then okay to poke fun at Scar; the man is an imaginary character and so even if he weren't so badass, he can be assumed to be able to take it. I will make fun of him; so can you.
4. Even though I don't expect people to be polite to Scar, please try to be courteous to other fans. This will not be a heavily moderated community so a lot of things will be allowed, even if they are Not Nice... however, don't think that asshole behavior won't garner some withering responses from me. Please try to be friendly and treat each other with respect; disagreements are totally encouraged, but so is maturity.
5. All fanfiction and fanart should be under lj-cut. Also, it is more then okay to post links instead of putting content up here, if that's what you'd prefer. This community makes no claims on original content and will not archive it through any means other then links in the memories... artists retain at all times 100% distributive and creative control over their own works.
6. There is not such thing as a forbidden Scar pairing or a taboo Scar topic; however, in turn this means that this community is accepting of all personal quirks and points of view. This community is aggressively yaoi-friendly... I wish this was a given, but you never know. If yaoi squicks you, you are still welcome here, but please remember to be courteous to those who disagree (and remember, the moderator actually WANTS to see yaoi here, so any actions on the part of members to discourage it will be highly frowned upon).
Having said that, this is also a het-friendly community. AND I MEAN IT. *shakes fist* Please do not look down on people who think that Scar needs some good PIV action.
7. This is an adult community and adult topics will (most likely) be discussed. Children are not unwelcome, exactly, but should have parental permission before browsing explicit stuff. Obviously it is impossible for me to verify the age of anyone who joins/watches/skims this community. But if you are under the age of 18, you are requested to check with your parents before looking further. YES I KNOW THIS IS TIRESOME. But please take this request seriously because I don't want to have to censor this community to protect
your parents'
your delicate feelings. Okay?
