willowynn: More character slots per server in the expansion?
Ok...I have a lot of alts. I won't be deleting any (murder!!!) and I don't want to move into a third server. We've started a thread on the suggestion forums bringing this to Blizzard's attention. It's right here. <--((no longer active, as of May 20))
I know that this issue is more important to some than others; it all depends on your playstyle. However, more slots per server could only be good. With two new races becoming available, two new slots seems only fair.
Now, the post will disappear and no one will see it unless people reply to it. So, please, throw in your two cents. :)

merowitt: The Gates have opened.
On Thursday the gates to An'Quiraj were finally opened. Roselily of Catalyst had the honor of swinging the mallet. There was a lot of build up to this landmark event and while I am glad I was a part of it, I must say that I was a little disappointed.
The crowd which amassed at the Scarab Wall on Thursday was massive. The pictures taken are deceptive, as the throng of people continued beyond the draw distance of my client, even with the draw distance turned up to maximum. Had Willowynn and I not purchased extra RAM for the event, we would not have been able to be there. The server (or at least all of Kalimdor) crashed several times before the gong could be rung. When the gong finally was rung the server crashed several times more. I was fortunate to witness the actually drawing back of the barriers sealing the wall. This occured over a period of several seconds and culumnated in a little pink supernova-like explosion (...pink?). Over the course of the next half hour or so the area surrounding the wall was a confused, chaotic mass of fighting. The server-side lag was so bad that no one really knew what was going on. The rumored piles-o-loot and zone-wide reputation gains were nowhere to be found.
After about a half hour of fighting near the wall, we noticed many people seeking invites to a raid. Figuring that I would help band together the straglers I created a raid group and invited anyone in need. This went well for a while as we left the wall to seek out one of the Resonating Crystals which had appeared throughout the desert, and kill the creatures that spawned around them. While entertaining for a short while, this proved fruitless. The crystals continued to spawn creatures and mind control members of the group to attack one another, and apparently could not be eliminated themselves. Leaving the raid group, Boltswick, Willowynn and I heard a call for help from players attacking the Colossus of Regal (pictured below). This was something to see but ultimately was also rather pointless and unrewarding as any attack on the Colossus would be met with almost instant death, often to everyone within 100 or so yards of it. Tired and unhappy, we logged off for the night.
The next day however, I was pleased to see that the end of the gate-opening event had triggered the new "field of duty" quest content throughout Silithus. Repeating, randomly selected quest content scaled for single players and small groups, with wonderful and very attainable rewards. This is what I've wanted out of the game for some time now and I'm very happy. This is something that Willowynn and I can sit down for an evening and have fun with on an on-going basis. For the longest time there just hasn't been anything entertaining for her and I to do with our 60s that didn't involve three other people. This fixes things.

merowitt: Drunken Boxin' with the Boomstick Gang (as told by Hannath)
Well tha' was fun! Last night the Boomstick Gang held a bareknuckle boxin' competition out in Gadgetzan, 'longside their usual open bar (Booze + violence = FUN!). I was called inta the ring first te face off against one o' their own, an' I won! Boltswick an' Maevanna were there as well to cheer for my glorious victory, or crushin' defeat - whichever the case may a' been. A good time was 'ad by all, despite a few interuptions from a less'n amicable troll. I hope they do somethin' like that again soon. Seemed like a real' good bunch a' dwarves.
Pictures as took by Mae' :D

An integral part of a good time is the food. Everybody has their favourite comfort food, bachelor chow, snacks, candy, alcoholic beverages; you name it. So, I wanted to start a thread where we could share our recipes.
