( Iljimae, episode two! In which I have a new appreciation for LJK's face after My Girl, and still enjoy the episode a lot despite the fact that he's only in this one for about ten minutes. Good show, Iljimae!Collapse )

On the other hand... I kind of don't know what is going on or who is who. But it's early days yet, and it's been a while since I watched the first episode. There's four main characters, yes? Two boys and two girls. One is Lee Jun Ki's Geom/Ryung/Iljimae/etc. The other is his half brother, whom I don't believe we've seen grown up yet, right? And then the two ladies, one of whom is the little girl who goes off with the crotchety older guy (<3) and the other who is the daughter of the fat mafia-type guy, and fake-half-sister to Iljimae's half brother. Have we seen either of the women grown up? Is one of them the person Ryung is badgering to get his money back? Is her "dad" the crotchety older man? Or are those two completely different characters?

WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?

THIS SHOW IS PRETTY. SO SO PRETTY. And that is what's important! Plot comprehension will come later, there are twenty episodes of this baby. I'm pretty sure it's my failing and not the show's.
