I travel light. I eat ravenously. I like to run.

Complex phenomena mesmerise me: human language, fluid turbulence, and the social behaviours of the canidae.

I'm currently looking for a good obsession.

I do computery stuff for a living.

I like wilderness and ocean, solitude and wind and rain.

I learn to love people. I might learn to be honest by the age of seventy.

I'm about 85% sweet-natured. I've been accused of doing a Jekyll-and-Hyde thing when I lose my temper.

I occasionally mistake myself for a four-legged wild predator.
