Scoring Go Game (original) (raw)

Hello. Very new to go, like I only started learning 3 days ago. Anyways, im not fully sure about how the scoring works. Look at this game:
I am black. The “13” next to the black stones means I captured 13 white stones during the game, and this excludes any white stones that are dead at the end when the game is scored. I count that I have territory 13 and white has territory 20. If my understanding is correct, I need to subtract dead black stones from my score, which means my actual score is 13-9 =4. White has 20-1 =19, plus 6.5 Komi makes 25.5, which means white beat me by 21.5, but it says white beat me by 16.5. What am I misunderstanding? Thanks.
