Request for NVIDIA NIM API Rate Limit Increase (40 → 200 RPM) – OpenCode Agent Workflow (original) (raw)

Hello NVIDIA Support Team,

I am writing to request a rate limit increase for my NVIDIA NIM API account to support my development and model benchmarking workflows.

Account Details:

Use Case & Reason for Increase: I am currently testing autonomous coding agent loops using OpenCode alongside frontier models like GLM 5.1.

Because agentic workflows utilize parallel processing, multi-step reasoning, and automatic tool-calling, the agent frequently fires 10 to 20 requests in a very brief window. This regularly triggers HTTP 429 “Too Many Requests” errors and stalls my development cycles completely.

Raising the limit to 200 RPM will provide the necessary headroom to benchmark these agentic loops successfully. This is strictly for personal testing, evaluation, and learning purposes.

I have a similar problem. It doesn’t seem to reset on the minute as advertised.

Agreed, from based on when I used it last which was earlier today, it didn’t reset until ~20 minutes later for some reason. And I was only able to send 2 prompts that were not very large
