According to the 2025 #SheLeadsTech Barometer, only 17% of students studying ICT in France are women. 👷 What is part of the problem? Social media algorithms. These algorithms tend to amplify popular content, meaning fewer female scientists are visible role models for young women. However, we can all help to change this. 🎓 Equans and Icam have signed a partnership to train tomorrow's talent. On 18 June, Equans France entered into a strategic partnership with Icam - Institut Catholique d'Arts et Métiers, a network of engineering and production schools deeply rooted in local communities. This partnership creates a connection between academia and the industrial challenges of our time. Thanks to this partnership, students will gain hands-on experience through internships, real-life projects, recruitment events and professional modules, especially those focusing on smart city solutions. 🌱 Our goal is to prepare the next generation of leaders in the fields of energy, industry and digital transition, and to guide them towards purpose-driven careers. 👷♀️ This commitment forms part of a broader global effort led by Equans to open up career opportunities for young talent.
