🎯 We're proud to announce that the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) has officially validated our 2030 greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reduction targets. This validation confirms that our targets are in line with SBTi's criteria and places our ambition in line with the 1.5°C trajectory set out in the Paris Agreement: -42% for our direct GHG emissions, mainly from fuel combustion in our vehicles and buildings (Scope 1), and for our indirect emissions linked to energy used in our buildings, such as electricity (Scope 2); -68% for the GHG emissions per MWh generated from the production of electricity and heat for our customers; -52% for our indirect GHG emissions upstream (e.g. supply chain) and downstream (e.g. use of products sold). ⚡️ {Press Release} Equans and INOCEL have signed a partnership agreement to develop an energy storage and production solution using carbon-free hydrogen. Equans, a world leader in the energy and services sector, and INOCEL, a leader in high-power hydrogen fuel cells, are collaborating to address low-carbon energy production challenges. 🔋 By 2025, they will provide high performance energy storage and generation solutions ranging from 300 kW to several MW, with a variety of applications including ports and smart grid infrastructure. INOCEL will provide the hydrogen fuel cell and Equans the containerisation. Together they will offer solutions for hydrogen production, storage and power generation, leveraging their expertise and partner networks across the value chain.
