- Did you know 🔍 | Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) are on the rise! 📈 Since the energy crisis and subsequent recent price volatility, Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) have seen a significant surge in interest. These long-term contracts between energy producers and consumers offer stability and are especially valuable for power-intensive companies and organisations aiming for a low-carbon energy mix. 🌍💡 While PPAs bring numerous benefits, they are still relatively new, and many companies are unfamiliar with their structure and potential. 👉 Swipe to dive into the essentials of PPAs and discover how they can benefit your energy strategy! - #France: Qair to develop e-methanol project on HAROPA PORT site in Le Havre 🎯 Objective: Decarbonizing the Western gateway to the Northern Range The project, called Methavert, aims to establish a renewable hydrogen and methanol production within the industrial port area of Le Havre, the first Northern European deep-water entry point for imports and the final port for exports. The facility will initially produce 200,000 tonnes of e-methanol to support the decarbonization of maritime transport and other high-emission and hard-to-abate industries (‘hard-to-abate sectors’). With this project, Qair reinforces its intention to become a major hydrogen player, both in France and internationally. - Qair with Energy Observer in Paris for the final chapter of her Odyssey 🌍 For 3 years, Qair has been proud to support and follow Energy Observer, a laboratory boat powered by a mix of renewable energies and hydrogen, on her round-the-world Odyssey to explore and develop clean energy solutions and validate their effectiveness in real-life conditions. For this final stopover in Paris, we had the pleasure of welcoming our Group shareholders, backers and partners to the Energy Observer Village. The event featured an exclusive tour of the vessel, followed by a cocktail reception in the presence of Victorien Erussard, President and Captain of Energy Observer, and his crew 🥂 On a separate occasion, our subsidiary Qair France - Qair Group took the opportunity to invite its partners and prospects 🤝 to discover this project, which has been designed to demonstrate that another energy future is achievable. To mark the autumn afterwork at our nearby headquarters, our local teams were given a private tour of the exhibition which traces the history and development of the ship and provides an insight 🔎 into its energy dynamics. This partnership with Energy Observer also gave us the chance to organise exclusive visits of the vessel 🛥️ , and we were pleased to welcome on board: - A delegation from Montenegrin public utility Elektroprivreda Crne Gore AD Nikšić- Karen María Jensdóttir, one of our project managers in Iceland and winner of a Qair internal competition. Many thanks to the Energy Observer team for the warm welcome. This collaboration has been more than just a partnership: it's been a shared human journey, enriched by the encounters between our respective teams across the world. We look forward to following your future projects 👋 #energytransition #renewableenergy #energyobserver

- #Paris2024: Throwback to Qair's internal contest 🌍🏆 To celebrate the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, Groupe Qair organised an internal prediction contest, where participants from all our agencies around the world had to predict the event outcomes. 🇮🇸🇫🇷 Karen María Jensdóttir, project manager from our Icelandic agency, was the final winner of this contest and won a week in Paris, including tickets to one of the Paralympic Games and an exclusive visit to our sponsored vessel, Energy Observer, which runs entirely on renewable energy and hydrogen. Read more about her experience ⬇️ “I would like to start by thanking Qair group for organizing this trip and giving me the incredible opportunity to attend the Paralympics, visit Energy Observer and meet the Qair team in Paris. It was inspiring to learn about the exciting projects we have in France, and to share knowledge and insights. Despite working in different countries and come from different cultures, it’s clear that we all share the same goals and face similar challenges in our mission. Attending blind football at the Paralympics was especially motivating. It really showed me that no obstacle is insurmountable if you stay determined. Visiting Energy Observer and getting a tour from Beatrice Cordiano, the onboard scientist, was both interesting and educational. It gave me more hope for the future possibilities of green transportation on sea and gave me fresh insight into the future of our H2 project Katanes in Grundartangi in Iceland. It’s truly inspiring to witness the impactful work Qair is doing for the environment, society, and the energy transition. - Because we Qair!” And congratulations again to our colleagues from Qair Maroc - Qair Group who joined forces and won a Paris 2024 Olympic Games poster for their offices 🏆 Finally, well done to Carla Bestieu, Baptiste Poujol, Bastien SIMOES VIEIRA, Giany Cavallini, Paul G., Michał Choiński, Benjamin Gaultier, Anaïs Malézieux and Quentin Hamzaoui, who stood out for their predictive skills and won Paris 2024 official items 👏#WeAreQair
