- Matthieu Vaxelaire 💡 7,5€ Billion (with a B). That’s the annual amount the French state provides to innovative companies through just one program: the CIR (Crédit d'Impôt Recherche). As an entrepreneur, my companies have been fortunate beneficiaries! But did you know that beyond the CIR, there are also: CII, JEI, JEA, BPI, CIMA, CICE, ACCRE, ACRE, FSE, ANR, FUI, PGE, FSN, PIA, FISAC, PTZ, FCTVA, AIF, and 1,753 other official grants and subsidies available? Combined, they represent well over €20 billion annually in funding for businesses. 😢 The catch (number 1)? Accessing these funds is often a bureaucratic nightmare. This is where agencies step in—offering to handle the process but taking a significant cut in return. 🚀 Enter REKI. We’ve developed the first software platform designed to simplify access to these subsidies. With Reki, companies can: 🔍 Discover all eligible opportunities 📑 Automatically generate applications and required documents 💾 Manage and update key data for compliance REKI is led by a seasoned duo of non-dilutive funding experts: Cyril Fougères (ex-BPI and iii-financements) and Aurélien Sibiril (repeat CTO). If you are looking for non-dilutive fundings, simply complete for form on our website (link in comment) Go Meghan Regior Victor Gross Nic Touron Calliste Duru Quentin Le Gall Thibaud Elziere Amaury Sepulchre Quentin Nickmans 🥰 catch (number 2) France is not alone, most countries are doing the same and we are going after it too :)
- Alexandre Rousseau A recent report by Institut Montaigne highlights an important reality: despite France's strong technological position, we currently represent only 3% of the global quantum market... With just 5 startups in a world of 85, we are lagging in commercializing “end-to-end” quantum solutions. As we move into the next phase of our national quantum strategy, we must transform our technological advances into commercial successes. 🤝 At Pasqal, we believe in the potential of quantum computing to disrupt industries, from pharma and chemistry to manufacturing, energy, and finance. We are already building the quantum reality alongside key industry players EDF Thales CMA CGM Airbus BMW Group aramco This is a strategic turning point that could redefine the global competitive landscape. ⚛️ The report outlines key recommendations to bridge the gap, including strategic investments in quantum computing, sensors, and communications, which are critical for positioning France at the forefront of this emerging market. I encourage everyone in the quantum community and beyond to read this insightful analysis by Institut Montaigne. #QuantumComputing #Innovation #Technology #Deeptech #Business

- Newfund 📍 [Tibi Deep Tech Roundtable] On October 15th, the Tibi Deep Tech Workshops on Digital Health and New Space gathered key experts to explore the future of innovation in these fields. Newfund was represented by Pierre Frouin, Operating Partner, who shared valuable insights into the competitive landscape of Healthcare, a strategic sector for the VC fund for more than 10 years. 🇺🇸🧠 Pierre discussed the Go-to-Market strategies for startups, highlighting the importance of balancing U.S. expansion with European growth. He explained how this approach, especially through Heka, helps accelerate progress in the BrainTech and HealthTech sectors. The roundtable also demonstrated how digital healthcare unites a wide range of players—corporations like Pfizer (Luca Mollo) and Dassault Systèmes, public institutions like Agence de l'innovation en santé and Inserm, startups like Volta Medical, and VCs such as Jefferies, Ventech, and Sofinnova Partners—all working together to foster the rise of international leaders, following Philippe Tibi’s initiative. cc Pierre Frouin, Anne-Sophie Saint-Martin, François Veron, Constant Beroulle, Carla Paillardon #Newfund #RoadToTheUSA #Heka #BrainTech #Tibi
- Yannick Léo 🌟 Reflections on CES 2025 in Las Vegas: the typical question – what impressed you the most? 🌟 For me, it’s undoubtedly the startup artha and, more broadly, AI for assisting people with disabilities. I had the privilege of discovering artha, a French startup that, believe it or not, helps blind individuals… see! Yes, I had to ask them to repeat it three times to make sure I understood correctly. 😲 Congrats Rémi and Wandrille du Chalard! More generally, I was amazed and inspired by the number and quality of solutions designed to improve the lives of people with disabilities. Here are a few highlights: 🔹 MotionSign: an avatar that automatically translates into sign language, or Sign-Speak 🔹 Pulse Audition: enabling hearing despite background noise 🔹 KAPSYS: an innovative solution to help the visually impaired avoid obstacles ✨ These innovations are a powerful reminder of how technology can create a more inclusive and accessible world. And you, what stood out for you at CES 2025? I’d love to hear about your discoveries and favorite innovations in the comments! 👇 Interview done by Les Voix de la Tech, great! #CES2025 #Innovation #AI #Accessibility #TechForGood #Inclusion
- Catherine/Kate Bourlier Masson At Beo Healthcare, we partner with multiple health professionals to ensure that #alix, our hybrid artificial intelligence, includes the right features and benefit for patients' quality of life. Alix is designed to target multiple diseases, including #cancer We want to thank MD, brain surgeons at CHU de Brest for sharing relevant research publications with us to allow the right developments of Alix, in particular to have a solution that is customized, specific to each individual Extracts from the Abstract ⤵️: " Fatigue is one of the most common adverse effects of cancer that might persist for years after treatment completion in otherwise healthy survivors. Cancer-related fatigue causes disruption in all aspects of quality of life and might be a risk factor of reduced survival. The prevalence and course of fatigue in patients with cancer have been well characterized and there is growing understanding of the underlying biological mechanisms. Inflammation seems to have a key role in fatigue before, during, and after cancer-treatment. However, there is a considerable variability in the presentation of cancer-related fatigue, much of which is not explained by disease-related or treatment-related characteristics" "... a variety of intervention approaches have shown beneficial effects in randomized controlled trials, including physical activity, psychosocial, mind–body, and pharmacological treatments..." #md #hospital #cancer #AI #AIforHealth #Healthcare #Europe #USA #futureofmedicine #physicalactivity #customizedmedecine #patientqualityoflife #brainsurgeon #fatigue #cancerrelatedfatigue Sophie Deniel Yannick GUILLODO Chloé Le Douarin Sullivan Gauville Lucas Morisseau Maxime B'chir Benoît Quero Jean-Luc DUFOUR Mathieu Champenois Yann Le DOUARIN Nature Research Custom Media UCLA MACMILLAN PUBLISHERS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
