One Fragile X Experience: Carrier & Mom Answers FAQs — Video
By Kristin Bogart
Ilana Garber, a Fragile X carrier and mother of a child with Fragile X syndrome, shares her experience with Fragile X and offers her perspective to people interested in testing for themselves or their child. She covers Fragile X-associated primary ovarian insufficiency (FXPOI), learning from the internet, finding community, and what she wished she would have known when her son was diagnosed.
Thank you, Ilana, for speaking about your experience in a way that honors your son in such a beautiful, authentic way.
Thank you to NFXF Corporate Sponsor for 2022 Asuragen for creating this important awareness project. Learn more about Asuragen’s work in Fragile X at DiscoverFragileX.
