This is a place to share ideas for free or cheap things to do different cities. Whether you are looking for a cheap vacation, just moved to a new area, or are new to being broke - you can find ideas for inexpensive entertainment here.
Feel free to post activities that are available year-round, special events, or stuff that you can do in any city. Please keep the site easy to use by putting the city in the headline and the state in the tag or put "anywhere" in both places if it is not location specific. Ideally suggestions should be for activities that are free or $5/person at the most.
This is a friendly community!! Comments that are made just to be negative instead of helpful will be deleted because they are annoying and they clutter the page, making it more difficult to find the helpful advice. This is a place to share ideas for inexpensive entertainment not to prove that you are better than everyone else at being broke.
