''This land and its building that started with sad beginnings, now has a vibrant and uplifting energy! It was a great place to learn of the terrible British Colonization. Now It pays tributes to the Artists, Musicians and Artisans of Nigeria. We are coming back to watch the boxing!''

We are so happy that a place of such sad history has been transformed to a place of celebration and symbol of freedom. It was interesting to learn about many activists who fought for their country's freedom and rights. It was an honour to be here and we can't wait to come back and experience a show on the stage. Love!

I have been taken on a guided tour by young Daniel - a gifted tour guide with articulate delivery and excellent knowledge of the site's history. The credit of preserving this history goes to the Government of Lagos State under Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola's leadership, who had the enlightenment to embrace Arch. Theo Lawson's vision to preserve this evidence of colonial correction's history. Well done, all impressive must be supported.

We are a group of ''satisfied customers.'' Thank you for making our reunion a memorable one. We are happy with security too. I forgot my tripod, but they found it and handed it over to Gbolahan.

Dear Ms. Aboaba and Daniel, Thank you for hosting me today at Freedom Park. Such an impressive, accessible community space. As British High Commissioner, it is important for me to understand our history here, including the darker aspects. My congratulations for such a creative community institution that helps shape a new narrative or Independence, Freedom and Future. With warm wishes.

On his visit to Freedom Park, Tuesday, 16th Jan., 2024. He Wrote: This is the preservation of our history and the eternal conservation of the sacrifices made by our heroes for our freedom. History is frozen and preserved for our generations to come. I have been in Prisons for many years as a political prisoner, my visit here reminded me of my own journey. I felt proud of the years of struggle. Chief Obafemi Awolowo and his comrades represent the conscience and conviction of humanity. May their souls continue to rest in peace.
