i am dying to find out the name of this film. it showed on Sundance's "in short" section as a short film. i looked on the website, but they didn't list this movie. anyway, it's about a young woman who gets into a traffic accident and she is reviewing her life. it shows shots of how her friends react to the news, and she's narrating exactly what they would do and there are past flashbacks with her and her boyfriend. i found it a very moving and powerful film. in the beginning her friends are all doing normal things.. playing tennis, putting on a puppet show for little kids, someone in a pool on the swim team. also the boyfriend's name is mathieu and the friend that calls is benjamin.

if you know the name of this movie, PLEASE get back to me. <3

Cendres et Sang Cendres et sang, by Fanny Ardant with Ronit Elkabetz -- has anyone watched this film yet?? (I'm hoping that there are French people in this community and not only people from other parts of the world, like me, who like French films...) If so, tell me about it, s'il vous plaît.

François Ozon In Moscow François Ozon came to Moscow to promote his brand new movie ‘Ricky’. Adapted from the short story ‘Moth’ by the English novelist Rose Tremain, Ricky is a fantastical thriller about a unique little boy and the struggles of a working-class single parent in contemporary France. Ricky premiered in competition at the 2009 Berlin Film Festival. The film stars Alexandra Lamy (‘The Ant Bully’) and Sergi Lopez (‘Pan’s Labyrinth’) and was produced by Chris Bolzli, Claudie Ossard and Vieri Razzini.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I've been on a bit of a Melanie Laurent kick as of late but the problem is my French is nowhere near good enough to watch an entire movie without subtitles and the copies I have don't have any whatsoever. If anyone could point me towards English subtitles for Le Tueur, Je vais bein ne t'en fais pas and/or Le Dernier Jour I would be so unbelievably happy and thankful.

Thank you in advance!

Mathieu Amalric Salut, mes amis. I'm wondering if you guys know anything about Mathieu Amalric, best known for The Diving Bell and the Butterfly (Le Scaphandre et le Papillon) and perhaps the most recent James Bond movie.

I'd love to see more of his films, but I'm not sure where to get them here in the US. How do all of you see your French films?

Merci beaucoup!

Dans Paris subtitles Hi all! I'm (fairly) new to this community.

Does anybody have the subtitles of "Dans Paris"? A friend of mine burned me a copy of the movie but the not the subtitles. I think it was a plot for me to improve my French (which I approve of), but there are some words that I couldn't understand, especially when they talked really, really fast.

Thanks!

Can you recommend some movies that Gaspard Ulliel stars in aged 16+ :)

Is Le Dernier Jour any good??

I've watched Une Longue Dimanche Des Fiancelles so far. (A very long engagement)..I plan on seeing Hannibal Rising and the movie posted below.

Also, (nothing to do with Gaspard)...if you know other movies in the style of Amelie and Jeux D'Enfants, please let me know.
