Eurocentrism and coloniality of power in knowledge production in postcolonial states, 2024

Indigenous knowledge systems and significances have been denigrated and widely rejected in decolonized states or contexts. The refusal is an effect of political colonialism which has ended with the decolonization period. Nonetheless, the fragments of coloniality persist under the vest of intellectual imperialism to date. I will engage critically with this topic via a theoretical analysis, using academic works of scholars who previously had addressed the coloniality of power that still lies at the basis of knowledge acquisition and policymaking in the modern world today.

and exemplify the effective power they can exercise in international politics.
The advent of the Westphalian state with its emphasis on the monopoly of force within

Politics today is done by a Tweet on Twitter or a post on Facebook. A team of social communication experts analyze voters' reaction and engagement to define the political agenda of parties. The call for continuous virtual engagements of the electorate is reducing the political discourse and might erode political sensitivity to the active grassroots participation of citizens, which is the core foundation of a sound democratic state.

institution that had little or no linkages with the modern capitalistic economy. Only recently scholars had
started the debate on the central role played by slavery in the growth of American capitalism.
Studies conducted by Calvin Schermerhorn, Sven Beckett, Seth Rockman, Edward Baptist, and others
had initiated a new debate to show that slavery was not a pre-modern institution, rather it was the generator
and modeler of modern capitalism, also with strong links with the industrial revolution in Great Britain.
My research paper aims to analyze and quantify the economic contribution of enslaved people to the
American economy and how it acted as a catalyst in transforming a relatively young republic into world’s
largest economy at the beginning of the 20th century.

This is referred to as SAP's and post SAP's period.
The critical assessment is made in two perspectives; A Political and an Economic perspective.
This work is conceived on a human rights approach to social protection and I analyzed the possibility of a fiscal space to enable the proper financing of welfare policies in Nigeria.
