Breath of Fire Art Search Site | [12 Jun 2007|12:03am] |
---|---|
[ **mood** | exhausted ] I asked some folks on the Breath of Fire forum I joined for some fanart sites and a member showed me this little gem:http://scherzo.s104.xrea.com/Now I haven't checked it out properly yet as I've just come home from Uni for the Summer, but it does look rather good and I also noticed it has a Games Search Engine so perhaps people can find game fan arts through them. I don't know whatr rating any of the sites are, sorry. Anyways hope you find this useful.=D | |

Searching help. | [07 Jun 2007|01:49pm] |
---|---|
[ **mood** | amused ] Hello,I'm new to the club, just joined and I'd wish I found this sooner! Now this might seem like a daft question to ask. What search engines and what do you type to find all these great Japanes fanartists? For example I'm a fan of Breath of Fire 4 and I've joined a BoF forum which posts lots of wonderfully drawn fanarts from game series, mainly from Asian artists. I'd like to find some of these artists for myself (sadly the forum rarely posts the links to the sites which does annoy me as I'm an artist myself so credit would be nice ect.) but I don't know how. I know it's incredibly lame, lol, but I'm not very good at searching I tend to only find artworks on deviantart. It's always baffled me so I think there must be an art to searching for Japanes fanarts, lol! Anyways thinks for any advice and help. Sorry to be a bother.=) | |

East Imperial Palace Garden, Tokyo | [22 Apr 2007|06:04pm] |
---|---|
[ **mood** | peaceful ] On my first trip into central Tokyo I caught the subway from the Roykan I was staying in in Nippori. I had set off to central Tokyo with no real plan for the day, when I came out of the subway station the exit was right across the road from Tokyo Central railway station and it was a very regal old looking building. Not knowing what to do I looked around for a bit and came across a tourist map detailing the attractions within the immediate vecinity. One such attraction was the East Imperial Palace Garden, as far as I know this is the only part of the castle grounds that the pubic is allowed to enter on a daily basis. I could see it's high outer walls and trees poking over the top of them down the end of one of the long wide avenues from where I was standing reading the tourist map. So I decided to make my way down the avenue and checkout the garden. When I got to the end of the avenue I discovered that there was water at the bottom of the high castle walls and looking up and down the walls found a little bridge for me to cross. [ **mood** | content ] Hey I'm new here and I love Japanese Art. I love the impressionistic style that they use to draw in anime and mangas. I enjoy drawing a little of both anime and realistic drawings but overall I cannot deny how much more fun it is to draw anime and create things using that style... Hope to get along with everyone and if not a few people that we can just talk to each other... Take care everyone | |
