From the results of our most recent community poll, it looks like there are at least a few of you still around here wanting to play!

So to celebrate 2020, let's try a mini round of gameofcards!

If there are just a few of us, we'll do a low key version of red vs black.

The first challenges are coming soon! Feel free to get a head start on them as we get the teams and other details sorted out!

Stay tuned for team assignments and more mod information about the phase - coming soon!

And if you'd like to help out some way, please comment or shoot me a PM.

Thank you all for your patience this round of gameofcards. And a special thank you to those who stepped up to help while I was away!

It's been a really rough time for me since I lost my Mom. A lot of things have had to take a backseat in my life as I've attempted to work through my grief. I apologize that this community was one of those things.

I'm trying to work my way back into fandom albeit slowly. I have plans to close out the current round soon, as well as make plans for the next phase as soon as I'm up to it.

Thank you again everyone for your patience. gameofcards will continue for another round!

• We are working on getting everyone sorted into teams and deciding if we will do

for this phase. We beg your patience as we get everything set up! Please continue to do the challenges as they are announced and we'll make sure your points are awarded properly once the spreadsheet goes live. (You may use any sigtag until you've been officially sorted.)

• The phase will run for approximately 3 months with the end date set for roughly May 1.

Near the end of 2018, we had at least 30 people vote in our poll who were interested in another round of gameofcards - so here's hoping there are still about that many of you around in 2019!

Normally I'd post extensions to the appropriate communities, but since I'm extending a group of them together, I'll just do it here. Please spread the word to your teams!

• cardwars is temporarily closed until I have time to sort out some new rules/info for battles. It will hopefully be open again soon.

• I know there are still some problems with some of the community layouts due to the photobucket issues. I hope to resolve those problems soon. Team leaders, if there is a problem with your team layout and you'd like to fix it please go for it!

• I am working on getting everyone sorted into the correct team communities! If you've moved to a new community, please be patient and I'll get you added to your new team community asap!

• I want to apologize because I realize last phase wasn't the most organized and there are still some housekeeping things that should probably correct from the previous phase. I want to let you know that I'm putting in some changes and recruiting some help that will hopefully help me be able to keep up better this time!

• If you volunteered to help post challenges, I'll be in touch soon!

• The phase will run for approximately 3 months with the end date set for the last day of February.
