You're welcome to still come to #piratekid on OFTC but most of us no longer go there as of this writing.Secondly, I released Santa's Lil' Helper, my first released ZZT game since about 2009 about a month ago, just in time for Russian Christmas. It's not very long but it does showcase some previously unseen (to my knowledge) ZZT effects, gimmicky as they may be. You can get it from my site here, or from Glorious Trainwrecks here.I've also started work on an ambitious new Viovisian ug-based game, currently titled "Finding Frankbutt: An Ug Odyssey," inspired by a mysterious visitor to the #rockman sister ug of the same name.Since I've only barely started so far I don't want to promise too much for fear of disappointing, but the current plan is a fairly long, at least vaguely ug-based quest to track down and uncover the truth about the legendary Frankbutt.I'm going for the heavily PPDV2-inspired route that Mustache IV went down since I hate having to do plots and it's a lot easier if for every board that has anything to do with the plot you can insert an 8 board mini-story about green tea demons or counting trains in between.I'll probably incorporate anyone who's in the ug in as at least a very minor cameo... but if you have any requests feel free to yell at me. I actually did have a plotline for it unlike all my other Ghettoflower/Viovis inspired games, so this version will finally bring it to a conclusion. Due out before 2014. I also plan to make a Mustache V to wrap up the series, but this one will be for Plastic or SuperZZT.MadTom's Secretary - A C.L.A.U.D.E.-style ZZT diss game aimed at former ug members Surlent and MadTom. Due out before 2014 as well. You can look at the title screen here.Algorithm Part 1 Remake - A extremely heavy remake of the original Algorithm (so much that I may have to just pretend it's a separate game by the end) that I'm making due to being extremely unhappy with how the original version came out.For one, the art was terrible most of the time and a pathetic imitation of Nadir's glorious art style compared to what I can now do. Also the jokes were generally pretty stupid/annoying, ("LOL I'M WRITING IN ALL CAPS AND USING WORDS THAT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CURRENT SITUATION! FUNNY!!!!11") the whole furry thing went way too far (although I'm still keeping the player character an anthropomorphic cat just to spite a certain someone... you know who you are,) and the plot was god awful due to me making things up as I went (and in at least two cases just automatically basing an entire area on what someone on IRC said at the moment.)I'm still not entirely where this is heading, as I still want to imitate Zandor 12's Huh? and Zenith Nadir's Frost but without coming off as a ripoff/"me too!" game.Algorithm Part 2: Prophecy of the Great Hamster - The second part of Algorithm. Takes place entirely in a strange, alternate universe (think Xen from HL mixed with Jazz Jackrabbit.)
