X-Factor Missions I	[01 Sep 2006\|04:35pm]
Everyone did a great job with Lonewolf. He's in jail, and the Hyperion is on its way to becoming operational. Soon, X-Factor will officially be in business. In the meantime, I have some things for you guys to do to help get us started. Right now, our priority is gathering intelligence.Icarus: Head down to the Mutant Clinic and let Moira know who we are and that, if she ever needs us, we'll be there for her and her clinic. We want to make sure that the place is never burned down again. Also, while there, find out if she has any patients. It's reasonable to assume that any patients are there as a result of violent crimes, and that can give us some leads on who's the biggest threat right now.Moonstar: You're target is the 46th Precinct. The Sentinels have crime records and reports that could prove useful to us. Make a friend there, or use your powers to sneak a peak at the records. This may give us some leads on who's causing trouble.Wolverine: Find out what the word on the street is. Magneto is in jail and the Brotherhood is gone, but that doesn't mean its former members have decided to turn over a new leaf. If any of them are still active, they could be a threat. I know you have your own 'sources' to call upon.Once we have some leads, we can then decide what our next mission should be.

X-Factor Missions I

(OOC:Hey, guys. Sorry for the lapse there, but I've been busy with other things. Well, you know how it is, I'm sure.Anyway, I'd like to have a little quest for X-Factor--the Lonewolf one. This will help give them some starting street cred, as well as provide them the funds to get the hotel up and running.I'm thinking on Wednesday, maybe. Let me know if you guys are free that day.Mitch, regarding Wolverine: I was thinking either you and I could play a scene that introduces Wolverine to X-Factor before the mission OR he could just show up during the mission, Han Solo style, and start kicking butt--thereby joining us 'officially' afterward. Up to you.Once the mission is done, and everything is established, I plan on posting up smaller missions for you guys to take individually.Oh, one more thing. I hope to draw up a map of the Hyperion--floor plans, if you will--and post those soon.)

After the Hellfire party, we will choose a target and steal what we need to pay for housing. Done as a group.

Three months ago, Jonothon had been in this position: Wandering the streets without a clue where to go or what to do. At least he didn't feel as much despair. At least hanging around Emma would give him some direction. But he couldn't rely entirely on the ice queen, now could he? The two of them used each other a bit too much. Jono shrugged; time to rely on himself, then, and on himself alone. This time, there weren't any friends or gang members to help him or to help out. Sure, he might come in contact with the other X-Men from time to time, but that wasn't good enough. But Chamber didn't feel like just sitting around and playing guitar on street corners; he wanted to DO something, and he still had some hope there was some way to restore his body.It took some thought that kept him awake that night, but Jono had some inspiration: Emma wanted him as a bullyboy, right? No reason he couldn't charge her for it. No reason he couldn't charge anyone for whatever services they needed. He could be a freelancer.It was better than nothing. Hell, he might even have fun doing it. Jono made a mental note to talk to Cyclops, if he could find him, and mention he would be open to helping him out sometimes. He also had to get word on the street somehow that Chamber was open for business.
