Adopting innovative technology within the organisation enables the managers to accumulate and deliver the information as well as communicate with employees more effectively. India, as one of the developed countries, is successfully integrating technology in human resource management systems to ensure market-driven product and service development. Technology makes jobs easy; at the same time, it threatens the job market by reducing the human resource requirement to perform particular tasks. An effective human resource management should have the ability to integrate technology and the human resource for the better development of an organisation. This theoretical study focuses on various technologies adopted by the human resource management to make the workplace effective and highly productive.

Business organizations are facing the worst hit due to continuous lockdown. Education institutions and the universities are facing a tough time to balance teaching-learning effectiveness. Many education institutions have adopted online technology with optimum utilization of available resources; others face a tough time for survival. This study aims at understanding teachers' perception towards offline and online teaching. 480 academic professionals were selected based on simple random sampling techniques. Paired sample T test and One-way ANOVA is used to study and find out the difference in the perception of working online and offline among academic professionals. The study finds significant differences in teachers' perception of offline and online teaching among the academic professionals.

This paper discusses the essence of waterfalls based on the theoretical framework developed on interview and survey methods. The main focus is on SWOT analysis of waterfalls which is an utero concept in the studied area. Kodagu, the smallest district of Karnataka popularly nicknamed as the Scotland of South India, has potentiality of developing waterfalls as the hub of health tourism, Aurvedic and rejuvenation centers. The concept of monsoon tourism can effectively be applied as a strategic plan to harness the featured resources of Kodagu. A brief description of major waterfalls, the geographical features and various applications is the major concern of the study.

Researchers recently observed in their studies about the benefits the local population get while being involved in eco-tourism. Though many factors are considered to know how locals are benefited by eco-tourism, an interesting factor to be dealt with utmost care and concern is environmental and ecological issues arising out of these growth factors. All the possible technologies of computer application may be used to maximise the end needs of this specialised subject. One such application is GIS (geographical information system), which can be of great help in this concept. The GIS applications are recently used in the management of parks, facilities management, assessment of visual resources, and new areas identification for new tourism development initiatives.

Tourism is the finest source of revenue generation and employment creation which diminishes the possible unequal distribution of financial resources through its ancillary industry. Streamlining the banking sector through that offering funding facility for the those service providers and social entrepreneurs who practice sustainable development and community services, encouraging the indigenous and local entrepreneurs to produce, promote and market souvenirs in a tourist destination strengthen the ancillary industry. Hence financial inclusion is the key factor for community development. Unfortunately financial services accessible for tourism industry are very limited. Green banking can be the finest strategy for developing sustainable tourism through which achieving community development. Coastal Karnataka is a major tourist hub to which thousands of tourists visit a day. It is also famous for wide variety of local products. For couple of decades many countries all over the world show high degree of competency in promoting tourism. Eventually tourism is one of the prime concepts of discussion all over the world. Development of tourism requires continuous effort from various stakeholders like travel agencies, tour operators, local community and the government in particular. Governments at regional and national levels have the greater responsibility of developing the tourism through tourism policies. Tourism contributes for preserving of rich ancient culture and heritage. A sound tourism policy forecasts the future growth and development of tourism. From this perspective this theoretical paper identifies various potentials and the drawbacks of Karnataka state tourism policy 2015-2020. The objective of the study is to analyze various factors of Karnataka tourism which make the policy sound and unique. The study is confined to Karnataka state tourism. The outcomes of the study may help the government body and the other tourism stake holders to make forthcoming tourism policies more effective and unique.

There are more than 3000 homestays operating in Kodagu where majority of these homestays are located in a beautiful landscape such as forest, riverside, mountain and lagoon etc. These homestays are bounded by estates and rich forest which can adopt eco-tourism practices for future sustainability. Introduction of eco-tourism oriented activities in these homestays is the best way to strengthen the root of sustainability. From this view the research paper focuses on identifying and encouraging the potentials for eco-tourism through homestays. The main objective of this paper is to identify the possible innovative practices that can be adopted by homestays to promote eco-tourism. The results of this study can be applied to promote green and sustainable homestays across the state. Fashionable and busy life associated with the high technological advancement made the people to opt a location where everything available easy. This resulted in the emergence of mall culture. Modern malls are the centre of multi-cultured lifestyle. These malls reduced the burden of the purchaser. They also are the center of weekend time-pass with entertainment and game shows. Now malls not only attract elite customers but they also the gateway for the fun, entertainment of common people. People who visit the malls are highly conscious about the behavioral pattern and the dress sense. Those who are new to mall culture also modify their behavioral pattern as they feel the environment is seeking for the same. Lavish parking facility, elite behavior of the mob, systematic display of vivid products and high promotion and the dignified staff are the key issues of consumer behavior and buying decision. With this perspective the main objective of the study is to identify the influence of mall culture on the consumer behavior and the buying decision. The paper also tries to explore the psychological influence of mall culture on consumer behavior. The study is based on descriptive method. Both primary and secondary data were used for the study. The scope of the study is confined to selected shopping malls of Mangalore city. The study emphasizes on identifying the possible alterations in the buying behavior of consumers which is directly associated with the mall environment. The study suggests various techniques and the strategies associated with consumer's psychology which can be adopted by the marketers to make the consumers a better and fair purchase decision.

Modern youth and students are the largest segmented consumers of online shopping. Online marketers through various marketing strategies try to grab the attention of this segment. The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the factors influencing online buying behavior among the college students of Karnataka. The study is based on quantitative method. 50 students from four major universities, Government and Private Colleges of Karnataka were randomly selected as sample for the study. The findings of this study improve marketers understanding of online consumer's behavior among the college students of Karnataka. The results of this study can be applied in considering and choosing various marketing strategies that would influence youth to attract towards online shopping.

The basic question of suicide is associated with why people suicide, wherein the possibility of medication for those who attempt suicide is not yet revealed. There are hundred reasons to commit suicide and the only way to stop this self assassination is psychological therapy. Coffin therapy would control the suicide attempts and bring new hopes of life among the attempters. Coffin therapy can be blended with tourism which will bring a drastic fall in suicide. It is completely a new concept for Indian society which would control the suicide and as a niche market it would develop a new entrepreneurship skill. Bangalore is one of the fastest growing industrial cities where waste management has become a major concern. As like other destinations, most of the tourist sites of Bangalore are the centre of waste generation. Overlapped carrying capacity, lack of awareness among the tourists and negligence of the administrative system are the major reasons for waste generation. Tourism is a recreational activity where tourists would like to visit a site of hygiene. Particularly the foreign visitors have a negative impression on the tourist attraction of India because of ill management of wastes generated in tourist sites. With this perspective the main objective of the study is to identify the possibility of converting the wastes into income mechanism. The scope of the study is confined to various tourist attractions of Bangalore. The study is based on observation method. The study emphasises on waste management in tourism attractions of Bangalore with an idea of possible economic sustainability which would generate employment and economic inclusion in a tourist site. The study also suggests a sustainable waste management model which can be implemented by a BBMP in association with the Department of Tourism.

Every human being's action is the direct outcome of anticipation of society. Hence the behavior of humans is built on a set of systematically defined opinion of the observer. We the human beings observe over selves from others perspective and modify ourselves into a portrayed lifestyle. The modern society is highly action oriented. Fashionable and busy life associated with the high technological advancement made the people to opt a location where everything available easy. This resulted in the emergence of mall culture. Modern malls are the centre of multi-cultured lifestyle. These malls reduced the burden of the purchaser. They also are the center of weekend time-pass with entertainment and game shows. Now malls not only attract elite customers but they also the gateway for the fun, entertainment of common people. People who visit the malls are highly conscious about the behavioral pattern and the dress sense. Those who are new to mall culture also modify their behavioral pattern as they feel the environment is seeking for the same. Lavish parking facility, elite behavior of the mob, systematic display of vivid products and high promotion and the dignified staff are the key issues of consumer behavior and buying decision. With this perspective the main objective of the study is to identify the influence of mall culture on the consumer behavior and the buying decision. The paper also tries to explore the psychological influence of mall culture on consumer behavior. The study is based on descriptive method. Both primary and secondary data were used for the study. The scope of the study is confined to selected shopping malls of Mangalore city. The study emphasizes on identifying the possible alterations in the buying behavior of consumers which is directly associated with the mall environment. The study suggests various techniques and the strategies associated with consumer's psychology which can be adopted by the marketers to make the consumers a better and fair purchase decision.

Modern youth and students are the largest segmented consumers of online shopping. Online marketers through various marketing strategies try to grab the attention of this segment. The purpose of this study is to identify and explore the factors influencing online buying behavior among the college students of Karnataka. The study is based on quantitative method. 50 students from four major universities, Government and Private Colleges of Karnataka were randomly selected as sample for the study. The findings of this study improve marketers understanding of online consumer's behavior among the college students of Karnataka. The results of this study can be applied in considering and choosing various marketing strategies that would influence youth to attract towards online shopping.

The basic question of suicide is associated with why people suicide, wherein the possibility of medication for those who attempt suicide is not yet revealed. There are hundred reasons to commit suicide and the only way to stop this self assassination is psychological therapy. Coffin therapy would control the suicide attempts and bring new hopes of life among the attempters. Coffin therapy can be blended with tourism which will bring a drastic fall in suicide. It is completely a new concept for Indian society which would control the suicide and as a niche market it would develop a new entrepreneurship skill. Bangalore is one of the fastest growing industrial cities where waste management has become a major concern. As like other destinations, most of the tourist sites of Bangalore are the centre of waste generation. Overlapped carrying capacity, lack of awareness among the tourists and negligence of the administrative system are the major reasons for waste generation. Tourism is a recreational activity where tourists would like to visit a site of hygiene. Particularly the foreign visitors have a negative impression on the tourist attraction of India because of ill management of wastes generated in tourist sites. With this perspective the main objective of the study is to identify the possibility of converting the wastes into income mechanism. The scope of the study is confined to various tourist attractions of Bangalore. The study is based on observation method. The study emphasises on waste management in tourism attractions of Bangalore with an idea of possible economic sustainability which would generate employment and economic inclusion in a tourist site. The study also suggests a sustainable waste management model which can be implemented by a BBMP in association with the Department of Tourism.
