I just started my 1st year at the University of Rochester and I was wondering if anyone has heard of The Rochester Spa and Body Club. I wanted to know if anyone had been there or knows about it at all. I know its for all men and im sure things go on in there that not everyone wants to speak of. If you dont mind telling me anything about it go ahead please, but if you want to message me about it thats ok too.I want to know if its worth it to go and pay and if i do go what will it be like. Thanks in Advance,A

Marriage Equality Town Meeting Hernandez v Robles, Samuels v New York State Department of Health, Matter of Kane v Marsolais, and Seymour v Holcomb. On May 31st there will be 4 court hearings heard at the Court of Appeals in Albany, New York in the fight for Marriage Equality...It will be assumed that there will be one decision in the upcoming months deciding whether LGBT New Yorkers will have the right to Marry the ones they love. The decision will most likely be on a Thursday, in the late morning to early afternoon, and from the 3rd week of June on...The hearings will be webcasted at the court of appeals homepage which can be found HEREOn May 30th, the eve of the hearings, there will be 6 Statewide Town Meetings and Candle Light Vigils...Rochester, NY will be one of those places...Rochester: Where: First Universalist Church150 S. Clinton Ave.When: 7:00 - 9:00pmWhat: Testimonials, candlelight vigil, call to actionFor more information, contact Todd Plank at 585-244-8640, ext. 24.The town meeting starts at 7:00...Please invite all your friends, family and straight supporting allies who are in support of equal marriage and equal treatment of LGBT citizens of NYS.For more information, please visit the Empire State Pride Agenda Website...New Yorkers For The Freedom To Marry As a Marriage Ambassador for the Pride Agenda, I am spreading the word to everyone because I feel that Marriage is the gateway to equal and fair treatment of LGBT citizens. Some ask why we want marriage? Or why are LGBT people trying to "Invade" or "Destroy" the "Sanctity of Marriage" I say...Equal Rights are not special rights...Until we can obtain equal rights thru something other than the label of "Marriage" we will never be treated EQUAL...We will fight until we reach equal status600-700 State rights are taken away from you everyday1138 federal rights are taken away from you everydayCivil Unions only give a select number of those state rights depending on what gets passed...Youth & Teens - You should care about this as well...This is not an adult issue...**THIS IS YOUR FUTURE!!!!**If you are 18+ you should be registered to vote. If you are under 18, spread the word...We wouldn't have to have the Digity For All Students Act (DASA) in NYS Passed in schools or the Gender Expression Non Discrimination Act (GENDA) Passed if we had the freedom to marry. We would already have laws of equal treatment! Same sex parents would no longer have to protect their children in the future if marriage was passed because there would be laws against unfair treatmentChildren who have gay parents would no longer have to live in fear of being harassed because they have 2 mommies or two daddies... Massachusetts hasn't fallen into the ocean...The sky hasn't caved in because they allow same sex couples to marry!New York could be the next Massachusetts!THINK ABOUT IT!

Hello everybody,This is about a subject relevant to this site. KQED's statewide public radio program "The California Report" is putting together a series of audio portraits inspired by the film "Brokeback Mountain" and is asking for your input. We are interested in interviewing gay men and women who moved to gay-friendly California cities or towns, from other areas of the country or other parts of California where they felt hostility because of their sexuality. In places like San Francisco and Los Angeles, it's easy to forget that many of our neighbors are lesbians and gay men who left the towns where they grew up, went to college or lived as adults because they felt threatened or unwelcomed. As an example, we have one story from a woman who went to college in Iowa in the late 1980s and had to put up every year with a fraternity initiation that involved bringing baseball bats into the only gay bar in town.If you have a story to share, please call the special voicemail box set up for this project. The phone number is 415-553-2390.
