By analyzing atelierz as a case study, it builds a discussion on situating the architectural design studio off-center, implementing experimental pedagogy, and producing excessively undisciplined work. Dealing with such a subject is crucial in exploring and discussing how architectural knowledge and skills, which cannot be fully accommodated within the scope of architectural education, are made accessible, used, and produced in the studio. The first part of the study, divided into three parts, explains what is off-center in architecture. The second part discusses the need to adopt an experimental pedagogic approach to situate the studio off-center and explains the experimental fiction of atelierz. The third part exemplifies the fictions and works of atelierz, discussing the excessively undisciplined nature of the knowledge and skills they lead to. Considering the conceptualizations, pedagogic fiction descriptions, and experiences presented, the opportunities and risks of situating the studio off-center are discussed.

20th century, Design Research shapes up in the framework of designbased research practice. The studies carried out in this field base on
the understanding and improvement of design processes. A design
process carried out by an experimental approach, intrinsic to
experimentality, promotes a critical look upon the entire design
process and constitutes an effective inquiry in context of design
research. By means of experimentality, it is possible to deal with
many constituents of the design process from design methods to
design results and to modes of representation. In this consideration,
taking Urban Archiscapes Studio which is an experimental design
studio opened in context of WS-RADS Intensive Program, as a case
study, this paper shares alternative designerly ways of thinking and
communicating upon the processes of shaping and making of places
under the theme “Urban Housing: Visions of the Future”.
Accordingly the design process of the Urban Archiscapes Studio is
illustrated under the titles of Studio Environment and Profile, Studio
Theme, Design Products and Prensentations of the Studio, Design
Approaches and Practices of the Studio. Thus, how the process of a
design studio constructed through an experimental approach
promotes design research is represented and how each of the design
products constitute a distinct inquiry is discussed from a
pedagogical perspective.

Accordingly how architectural knowledge is produced and what constitutes its basis are handled with regard to architecture's theory and practice and its relations with other disciplines. In this context, design is one of the significant subjects of discussion in respect of the production of architectural knowledge, as it allows both the theoretical and practical fields of architecture to be engaged and complex relations to be built with different disciplines. In this perspective, this paper proposes rethinking on architectural design knowledge. It addresses "knowledge in designing" as a conceptualization to define a specialized field of discussion regarding the complex structure of knowledge formed within the activity of designing. Concerning this conceptualization, the interrelations between the formation and communication of knowledge in the activity of designing is examined. To hold such an examination in terms of the unpredictable, intricated relationships between thinking and doing, a perspective is opened in the framework of the experimentality of designing. With this regard, the content created by Gilles Deleuze regarding experimentalism in context of his philosophy of creation is used to create an understanding of the structural characteristics and transmission potential of the" knowledge in designing". In the light of this understanding, going beyond the epistemological or the doxological frameworks of knowledge, the validity of the "knowledge in designing" is discussed based on basis of its own dynamics of genesis.

It analyzes how it intervenes in space by challenging everyday routines and social forms, making other ways of life visible, triggering change and opening space for creative formations. It constructs interpretative research by evaluating the potential for spatial experimentation offered by the presence and creative agency of the grotesque body in urban space. It offers a new perspective to the existing literature by emphasizing that the grotesque body should be considered as an experimental spatial production tool.
Considering the psychological, social, and cultural expansions and the imaginative power of a literary narrative for reconsidering space, the novel "The Box Man" is used as a case study to explore the interventions of the grotesque body in urban space. Through the analysis of the literary narrative, the research constructs an open conceptual framework in which the interventions of a grotesque body are analyzed regarding its characteristics and the spatial experimentation it carries out, supported by excerpts from the novel. The framework aids in understanding, discussing, and reimagining the grotesque body as an experimental spatial production tool. Ultimately, this study lays the groundwork for further research into the role of the grotesque body in the production of urban space, revealing its potential to challenge conventional spatial production practices and to inspire creative, unique ways of reproducing urban space.

The pedagogical fiction of the architectural studio is treated as a noteworthy issue that is effective in educating architects and shaping architecture. It is a matter of discussion about what the training in the studio should cover and how the content should be processed. This study, developed with an experimental approach to design, questions the architectural design studio's fiction of content and method to rethink its pedagogical coverage and processing. To materialize the discussion on the studio pedagogy, "house" as a design content and "designing in becoming" as a design method are proposed. "House" is re-conceptualized as a basic spatial structure for designing ...

It asserts that to interpret and to problematize the changing dynamics of architectural creation in actual conditions, the Contemporaneity opens a new field of comprehension. Accordingly, the article endeavours to conceptualize the concept of Contemporaneity in terms of its temporal, spatial and informational qualities in context of architecture with reference to the related discussions in philosophy and art. Far from fitting Contemporaneity into a particular definition, the article uncovers the possibilities that the Contemporaneity provides to experiment with architecture through design thanks to its experimental nature. It interprets the Contemporaneity as contextual being that provides a running room for experimenting architecture. In this perspective, it proposes to reposition architectural creation in a running room opening to Contemporaneity. Accordingly, the realization of architectural creation in the design space spread over such a running room is brought forward and the spatio-temporal informational configuration of design space as a basic architectural creation field is opened to discussion.

movement to become one of the basic components of the architectural space. Accordingly,
architectural construction of movement changes both our architectural production practices and
our understanding of architectural space. However, existing design concepts and approaches are
insufficient to discuss and understand this change. In this respect, this study aims to form a
conceptual framework on the relationship of architecture and movement. In this sense, the
conceptualization of move-tecture is developed to research on the architectural construction of
movement and the potentials of spatial creation through architecturally constructed movement.
Move-tecture, is a conceptualization that treats movement as a basic component of spatial
creation. It presents the framework of a qualitative categorization on the design of moving
architectural structures. However, this categorization is a flexible one that can evolve in the
direction of the expanding possibilities of the architectural design and the changing living
conditions. With this understanding, six categories have been defined within the context of the
article: Topological Organization, Choreographic Formation, Kinetic Structuring, Corporeal
Constitution, Technological Configuration and Interactional Patterning. In line with these
categories, a multifaceted perspective on the moving architectural structures is promoted. It is
aimed that such an understanding constitutes a new initiative in the design practices carried out
in this area and provides a conceptual basis for the discussions to be developed.

By reason of the fact that it is built both in architectural and literal fields collaterally, the Museum of Innocence has an unusual transformation story created within the intersection of fact and fiction. On that sense promoting an alternative way to reuse a historical house, it is a unique example to discuss the transformation and evolution of residential environment and its sustainability within the urban context.
Through the study, the transformation process of the Brukner Apartment and the dynamics of this transformation are discussed. Focusing on the method of the transformation and the content of the new usage, creation of the adaptive reuse fiction in an interdisciplinary dialog and configuration of the content of the fiction to be based on everyday life practices are highlighted.

Focusing on the dynamic configuration of physical space via movement in Kinetic Architecture, in this paper it is asserted that in order to understand kinetic spatial embodiments, a new aesthetic conception that goes beyond our conception of static spatial embodiments is needed. Using the conceptual frameworks; Eco’s poetics of the “Work in Movement” in context of his theory of “The Open Work”, Dewey’s theory of “Art as Experience” and Heidegger’s conceptions of “poetry as building” and “poetical measuring” as an explanatory tool, it intends to conceptualize aesthetics of the space in movement. As considering the movement as existential manifestation, poetical building of space in movement is opened to discussion as an alternative way of production of space in relation to aesthetics.
