(2006) have proposed several procedures and a mathematical model on single-model (product) assembly line balancing (ALB) problem with parallel lines. In parallel ALB problem, the goal is to balance more than one assembly line together. In this paper, a network model for parallel ALB problem has been proposed and illustrated on a numerical example. This model is a new approach for parallel ALB and it provides a different point of view for interested researchers.

ANNs were considered to be an option in the evaluation of growth properties. The potential use of accurate forecasts in decision making and fisheries management are supported directly by the findings of the present study.

Calismada incelenen yeralti ve yuzeysel su numunelerindeki nitrat duzeyleri ve ortalama degerleri sirasiyla; 0.01-190.63 mg l -1 , 0.01-10.20 mg l -1 , 16.09 mg l -1 , 2.51 mg l -1 olarak belirlenmistir. The present study was carried out to assess the population structure and growth with length weigh... more The present study was carried out to assess the population structure and growth with length weight relations, von Bertalanffy equations and artificial neural networks (ANNs) of topmouth gudgeon, between May 2015 and May 2016, in Hirfanli Dam Lake. The age of topmouth gudgeon caught from Hirfanli Dam Lake ranged between 1 to 5 years. The von Bertalanffy growth function growth coefficient k was 0.5 and asymptotic length L∞ was 91.3 mm fork length (FL). The weight-length relationship is given by the regression equation W = 0.01275334 × L3.0005 for all individual. Growth equations in length (mm) and weight (g) are: Lt = 91.3 [1–e–0.380 (t + 0.5)] and Wt = 10.36 [1–e–0.380 (t + 0.5)]3.0005 for all individual. AbstractThis study aimed to determine some morphological characteristics of freshwater crayfish, ... more AbstractThis study aimed to determine some morphological characteristics of freshwater crayfish, Astacus leptodactylus Eschscholtz 1823, populations in Mogan Lake, Turkey. Samplings were done between 2 July and 30 October in 2006 and 2007 with a random method. We present the relationships between total length (TL), carapace length (CL), chelae length (ChL), abdomen length (AL) and total weight (TW) for A. leptodactylus from Mogan Lake. Study was conducted in 112 individuals (14 female, 98 male). The research was found as 87.5 % male, 12.5 % female of crayfish thought investigation female and male ratios was of determined as to 0.14 /1.00. Avarage total length was 108.71 mm for female, 102.93 mm for male, average total weight was 28.64 g for female, 32.49 g for male. This study was conducted to evaluate the attitudes of the students in a secondary school in Aksar... more This study was conducted to evaluate the attitudes of the students in a secondary school in Aksaray towards the environment according to some variables. The research group of the study was constituted of 426 students who were attending in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade at a secondary school in the academic year of 2015-2016. The research done by using environmental attitude scale concluded that the secondary students have a positive attitude towards the environment. It was found that there was a meaningful difference according to gender, age group, father profession status, mother profession status. It was also concluded that students did not differ according to mother education level, father education level, grade level, family income level, and number of siblings variables. Similar evaluations were made with artificial neural networks. In this study, it has been shown that artificial neural networks can be used in the studies conducted in the field of education.
