This research work is hinged on agency and stakeholders' theories. The data for this study were collected from the financial statements of the companies studied, journal articles, reports, periodicals, websites and magazines. The research study nine (9) oil and gas companies and covered a 20 (2000-2019) year period. The study adopted Ordinary Least Square method of data analysis to analyse the data collected and decisions were made from the statistical result. This study concludes that there is significant negative relationship between audit quality and audit committee meetings; that significant positive relationship exists between audit quality (AUQTY) and firm age (AGE); that there is significant positive relationship between audit firm tenure and audit quality; that there is significant positive relationship between board size and audit quality; that there is a statistical significant negative relationship between firm size and audit quality; that there is significant negative relationship between financial literacy of audit committee members and audit quality; that there is significant negative relationship between audit fee (FEE) and audit quality (AUQTY); that there is significant negative relationship between earnings management (EMGT) and audit quality (AUQTY). Since there is negative relationship between audit committee's meeting and audit quality, firms should find a better way to monitor statutory audit rather than increasing meetings of audit committee.

The study was conducted to examine the rationale for entity cash management in Nigeria. We examined 50
companies quoted in the Nigerian Stock Exchange over 22 years from 1995 through 2016. The analysis was
done by the use of Ordinary Least Square Method and Eview version 7. We found that cash holding is
dependent on corporate size, leverage, net working capital and return on total assets. From the correlation
matrix, cash holding level is positively related to cash flow variability, company size, growth opportunity,
investment in fixed assets, leverage, return on assets and net working capital Cash holding depends on
leverage and net working capital. Companies maintain much cash to be able to reduce the debt ratio or meet
urgent demand for repayment of debts. Corporation should strive to maintain an appropriate level of cash
holding as dictated by company size, leverage, net working capital and return on total assets.

Three research questions were raised which are: what is the relationship between return on net worth and share price? to what extent does dividend per share influence share price? to what extent does cash flow from operations affect share price? To address these questions, we used data from 2012-2018 of 20 financial service companies listed in the Nigerian Stock exchange. Eviews 10 was used to analyse the data collected for this study. Least square regression method was adopted to make our statistical decisions. After conducting Hausman Test, the result indicated that random effect is more appropriate than the fixed effect model. There is positive and significant relationship between share price and firm size. We also found that there is negative and insignificant relationship between DPS, EPS, CFO, BVS and SP. The study concluded that there is relationship between share price and firm size. Also we conclude that there is no value relevance between information in financial statements and share price. The details of cash flow, dividend per share, earnings per share, book value of share and dividend per share disclosed in financial statements will not necessarily influence share price. We therefore recommend to companies to always fully disclose all the information related to their operations especially information relating to their sales revenue and assets. Also we recommend that companies should diligently follow the International Financial Reporting Standards in preparation and presentation of their financial statements.
