I began my research of undocumented immigrant youth at the University of South Florida under the mentorship and supervision of Dr. Elizabeth Aranda. I am an advocate for community based participatory research and have a great passion for ethnography. I grew up in Florida as an undocumented immigrant most of my life and have recently moved to NYC to pursue my PhD in Sociology.
