An open-ended project (OEP) is a type of assignment that does not have a predetermined outcome or a fixed set of instructions. Such OEPs were used as an alternative to the traditional 'Experimental Style' or 'Do as Directed' method of laboratory teaching learning process. The overall aim was to improve the student experience in practical classes of chemistry laboratory. To facilitate this, all third semester chemical engineering students were divided into small groups of two or three. Then each group of students was assigned a unique OEP title and given ample time to complete their projects while adhering to experimental protocols. At the end of the semester, students were assessed for changes in their learning behavior in relation to the curriculum and course outcomes. The results clearly indicated that this teaching method more accurately reflected real-life problem-solving techniques. This means that students were more regularly attending classes and exhibited a more positive and engaged attitude compared to past cohorts. This increased motivation and interest in the coursework, resulting in better attendance and a more positive classroom environment.

Boric acid has numerous applications in which one as fire retardant material and it is accepted as fire retardant compound in different aspects. Boric acid suppresses the fire/flame by releasing water. It not only prevents fire but also terminates flameless combustion. Objectives of this study were to determine the fire retardency of boric acid on wooden material. For that we have evaluate the effect of different concentration of boric acid applied to the wood stick as layer (coating). After examine the fire retardency characteristic of each and every sample, we determine that the each wood stick behave differently according to the concentration of boric acid applied.

The combination of these derivatives with other medicinally important class like glycolylurea might give some more applicable compounds. The objective of the present work was the synthesis and characterization of glycolylurea derivatives of some β-lactams. The synthesis involving formation of glycolylurea derivatives followed by the condensation was performed as per previously used methods. Materials and Methods: The synthesized compounds were characterized by various physico-chemical and analytical methods including FTIR and NMR spectroscopy. All the compounds were also investigated for their antimicrobial activity on gram negative and gram positive microbial cultures. Results and conclusions: It was found that from the investigated compounds one compound G5 mono-chloro derivative with one methyl group at ortho position was found active against gram nagetive microbes P. aeruginosa and G7 di-chloro derivative with one methyl group at ortho position was found active against gram positive microbes B. subtilis. Four out of eight compounds are moderately active against E. coli. Except G8 all the synthesized compounds are less or very less active against selected fungal stains.

The three top operating expenses are often to be found in any industry like energy (both electrical and thermal), labour and materials. If we were found the manageability of the above equipment's the energy emerges a top ranker. So energy is best field in any industry for the reduction of cost and increasing the saving opportunity. Thermoelectric methods imposed on the application of the thermoelectric generators and the possibility application of Thermoelectrity can contribute as a "Green Technology" in particular in the industry for the recovery of waste heat. Finally the main attention is too focused on selecting the thermoelectric system and representing the analytical and theoretical calculation to represent the Thermoelectric System.

Traditional forms of power generation -primarily made up of centralized fossil fuel plantsare becoming less favored due to the lack of clean, distributed power generation technologies. The need is well recognized for clean, safe and reliable forms of energy that can provide prescribed levels of power consistently, and on demand. Most forms of noncombustion electric power generation have limitations that impact wide spread use of technology, especially as a power source of electrical power (i.e. baseload power). Fuel cell technology on other hand has advanced to the point where it is viable challenger to combustionbased plants for growing numbers of baseload power application. If the cost is reduced by changing its material, this will be added an advantage to the large production of direct ethanol fuel cell production.
