Being totally taken to school about trivia in one of your original fandoms.Two hours of Eccleston has re-made me a Who fanatic, but that's a fandom I left behind about two years before it went off the air. Now, a good dozen fannish obsessions later, I've forgotten a fair amount of the mythos. Not so the younger fans who stuck around... and who came into it only a few years before I left, the whippersnappers!What totally makes me feel ancient is that it is COMPLETELY TRUE to say that I knew this fandom back when he was gumming pureed peas! Bittorrent DVDs? I remember Who fandom before the Internet and VCRs, you whelp! *shakes cane in his general direction* |

**10:53 am - *hears crickets***Man, we've gone silent as of late. Kind of wondering what folks think of Supernatural. Good? Bad? Worthy of my continued viewing? I'm not sure yet, personally. I loved certain aspects of it, sure, but I also think it's not totally found its way yet with that first episode. Thoughts? Or thoughts on anything else, really? Perhaps we're all just counting the minutes 'til the official Serenity release, eh? ;) |
