Frenum questions My husband is thinking of getting a frenum done. Is this type of piercing typically done while the penis is flaccid or erect? Also, am I correct that 10ga would be a good starting point for size?

Clit Piercing Hi

Just joined and have a question. I went with my friend the other day to have her labia pierced and since I've always wanted my clit pierced, I asked the guy about it. He said he'd have a look at me because not all that many women can have this piercing. Anyway, apparently I'd be suitable for piercing and I should have just had it done there and then, but the truth is I'm so terrified of the pain. I was wondering if anyone here has has it done and if they would tell me honestly how bad the pain was.

12ga ampallang My first post to this community. I got this done about 2 years ago at Rings Of Desire. It was actually my first piercing and is currently my only one (I had to take out my nipple rings, my eyebrow barbell, and my earrings when I got arrested, and the holes closed up). After I get the others redone, I want to get a frenum.

healing after taking out jewelry so ive had an ampallang for the past 2 years or so (im 20 now and got it shortly after turning 18). but due to current circusmstances ive ultimately decided to take it out. the problem is i know have holes on either side of my penis. im sure this will heal with time but does anyone recommend treatments to reduce scarring and make it heal faster. any help would be appreciated.

8ga VCH. I plan on stretching my VCH to an 8ga, barbell.

My question is - What kind of barbell would feel comfortable? Stainless steel or titanium. I know titanium is much lighter than stainless steel..especially for an 8ga. :P

belly button question I've had my belly button ring for about 10 years now. It's really never been out of the hole. I've changed out rings, but for the last 8 or 9 years It's been the same ring (probably the only piece of jewelry I've held onto that long. *lol*) in it.

Today it bled a little bit. It's been kind of tender the last few days. I actually took it out this eveing. Should I find some kind of filament to put in it to keep the hole from closing up? If I've had it this long, am I even in danger of the hole closing?

Anyway TIA for any info.

Triangle musings A couple of years ago, I really REALLY wanted to get a triangle piercing. However, I found that my piercer really REALLY doesn't think they are a good idea on 99% of women or maybe more. I ended up getting a vertical hood, that never healed. So that in itself doesn't bode well for a triangle.

Last weekend I got a new tragus piercing and had a different and female piercer at the same studio. She said her first vertical didn't heal, but the second time she did it, it worked out well. Which got me to thinking about getting another vertical, which got me thinking about getting a triangle.

I've moved (and was visiting last weekend) since I got my VCH piercing, and realized there might be someone more pro-triangles in town, and to my surprise a lady that trained at Rings of Desire lives in Atlanta and comes recommended by Elayne Angel.

So my question for ya'll is has anyone gotten a triangle piercing at Virtue & Vice in Atlanta?

I plan to talk to my old piercer again when I go get my other tragus done in 2 weeks, so I will be reminded why this may not work for me, but I'd also like to talk to someone who actually does a lot of triangles.

Clit Hood Piercing/UTI Hey
I had clit hood piercing last week and the actual piercing is great - vertical hood, bolt and two balls. It is only slightly sore and no nasty ooze. Been keeping it really clean as recommended.

However, two days ago I got a UTI (urinary tract infection) and I presume this is related to having some bacteria crawl up my urethra from the piercing. I did some test run mastubating on the same day it started! I am prone to UTI's anyhow but has anyone had any UTI's after piercings?

Also, how long do you need to keep the original piercing before you can change it? (i want to have a curved bar) and when I put the new one in do I insert it from the top or the bottom (which is tucked up under my clit hood)
